It was almost September.
Everyone had just gotten back from Korea Thursday night.
Amelia organized a small neighborhood bbq for the next evening, since Hyunjin was leaving next week, and since it was the end of summer holidays.
Hyunjin was buzzing with excitement all day, since JoJo was also coming, and he hadn't seen her for over a month.

[JINNIE!!!!! I'm leaving in like 30 min.] - JJ
[Okay. Get here safely. I'm super excited to c u. 🙉] - HJ

As they walked into Amelia's backyard,
Chan went to find Amelia. She was just setting some hamburger buns on the patio table. He gave her a subtle hug so as not to arouse suspicion.
Hyunjin was pulled over by a young couple that lived down the street.
"So we hear you're leaving us." They said.
Hyunjin laughed.
"Tell us about this new job you're starting, and where you're moving." They said.
Hyunjin started happily explaining all the details.
Jeongin and Byron ran to each other as if they had been separated for years.
Seungmin plopped down on a chair at an empty table, being antisocial.
Felix sat down right in the middle of two of the neighbors from down the block. He made himself part of their conversation immediately.
Jisung was anxious about being with all these people, but he was quickly called over by Mrs. Nielson.
"How was your trip my dear?" She asked, giving him a hug.
"It was really good!" Jisung said as he started telling her about it.
Then they kept talking as a few more people joined them.
A few of Hyunjin's friends also showed up, and then there was only one person left that Hyunjin was waiting for. JoJo.
Amelia looked over and noticed Seungmin sitting grumpily by himself.
She went over and sat beside him.
"Hi." She smiled.
"Hi." Seungmin smiled back.
"So how was your trip?" She asked.
"Terrible." Seungmin grunted.
Amelia was surprised.
"What? Why was it terrible?" She asked sincerely.
