Jisung pov:

I woke up late this morning. It wasn't my fault. It was Felix's fault. He snuck the tablet into our room last night, and when Dad went to bed, we played games together. Normally we don't play for very long.

But the time went by quicker than I thought. It was already 2:30 in the morning before Felix snuck back out to put the tablet away.

Suddenly I heard Hyunjin's voice outside the bedroom door. Why was he awake? Uh oh. Did Felix get caught?

I got up to listen by the door.

~
"Please. Don't tell Dad!" Felix pleaded.

Hyunjin sighed. "I'm not gonna tell Dad!"

"Thank you thank you thank you!" Felix whispered.

"Hurry and go to bed before you wake him up."

"What are you doing up anyway?"

"Going to the washroom." Hyunjin said with a yawn, as he walked away.
~

Felix ran back in the room and smacked right into me.

"Oof!" I said as I thumped down onto the floor.

"Shhhh! Why are you standing there?!" Felix asked.

"I was listening to see what was happening out there." I said.

Felix and I quickly got into bed and fell asleep.

But in the morning, I just couldn't wake up. I was so tired. I think I heard the alarm ring, but I must've turned it off.

Eventually Dad came in to wake me up, and he wasn't happy.

~
"Yah. Jisung. I thought you were in here getting dressed. Why are you still in bed?!" He said curtly.

I sprung up quickly and looked at the time. It was 8:30.

"Why didn't anyone tell me it was already 8:30?!" I asked frantically.

Channie hyung sighed.
"Be glad I didn't have to leave for work at 8:00 today, or no one would've woken you up."

I gave him an annoyed look as I quickly started changing.

"Hurry up. Your brothers already left 10 minutes ago." Said Hyung.

"I'm gonna be late!" I whined anxiously.

"Then why did you turn off your alarm?"

"I dunno! I don't remember."

Hyung sighed again and walked out of the room.

I quickly got my bag and stuffed my books into it, then I ran to brush my teeth, then to get my jacket and shoes. Hyung was waiting by the door.

I was about to run out but then he stopped me.

"Go brush your hair."
"I'm late! It's fine."
"Go brush it."
"It'll get messy again if I have to run anyway." I argued.

"Brush your hair. You look like a stray kid." Hyung ordered.
I stomped my foot, and Hyung gave me an icy glare.
"Ugh." I sighed as I flicked my shoes off and ran back to the bathroom to brush my hair.

"Happy now?!" I sassed as I came back and slipped my shoes on again.

Hyung suddenly cupped my chin in his hand and tilted my head up to look at him. With his hand there, he gave my cheek a little slap with the tips of his fingers.
I guess this meant he wasn't happy after all.

"I do NOT like your attitude." He said coldly.

I wanted to defend myself, I was just tired and anxious, but then again. I guess that was my fault too.

"Appa I-"
"You know better. Now smarten up." He said, interrupting me.
"Yes Hyung." I said. But I couldn't help but pout.

He let go of my chin and started fixing my hair.
I grew impatient. "Hyuuuung~ I'm late..."

"I know. You should've gotten up earlier." He said as he zipped up my jacket.

I tapped my foot anxiously.

"Okay. Go on then." He said finally, after making sure my appearance was neat.

I ran out the door and to the bus stop. I was totally going to be late.

I ran into the school and up the stairs to my class.

The teacher looked unimpressed.
"Peter. You're late."

"I'm sorry Mr. Clarke." I said shyly.

"Do you have a good reason?"

"Ummm. I slept in."

"So you don't have a good reason then. Go sit down." He said as the other kids laughed.

I went to the back of the room and thumped down at my desk. Seungmin looked back at me with a concerned expression. I just shrugged at him.

"Okay everyone... Pay attention." The teacher instructed.

I was starting to get my books out and trying to pay attention when out of nowhere, and for no good reason, Charlie, the annoying kid who sits in the row beside me, gave me the middle finger, and taunted me with his expression.

I didn't even have time to think. I just picked up my notebook, and chucked it right at his face.

"Ahh!" He screamed.

My notebook hit him right in the eye before loudly hitting the floor. My aim was perfect.
