UNDERCOVER PART 4

AIAH'S POV

"Ms. Arceta, you're 15 minutes late," Professor Angeles said as soon as I walked through the door of our classroom.

"Sorry, Sir," I apologized and then walked to the available seat next to the window.

"You should've walked with me kanina, edi sana 'di ka late" a girl with a raspy. deep voice suddenly said.

"What the heck are you doing here?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows

"You don't have this subject on your course Ms. Mikhayla so I see no reason why you're here" I added

"Well, look at the mirror and you'll see a reason why I'm here" she calmly said while smiling.

"Ano?" agad kong tanong since 'di ko siya masyadong narinig gawa ng biglang nagplay si Prof. Angeles ng presentation.

"Wala. I said, wala namang rules na nagbabawal sakin dito" sagot niya

"Kahit pa. Why are you here? How about your class?" I continuously asked.

"Wala naman akong schedule ngayong umaga eh, mamaya pa pasok ko" she answered

"Then why are you here nga kasi?" naiirita kong tanong

Hindi naman sa pinagbabawalan ko siyang mag-attend ng subject na 'to 'cause even Professor Angeles doesn't care but I don't want her here.

Iniisip ko pa lang yung pinagtetext ko sakanya, nahihiya na ako. I even sent her my photos.

"Di ba talaga ako pwede dito?" She asked with her pleading eyes and pouty lips.

I let out a heavy sigh

"No, but I want to know why nandito ka?" 

"May pinopormahan ka siguro dito 'no?" dagdag kong tanong

"Pwede ba?" she asked 

"Ano?!" I exclaimed upon hearing her

"Luh, makareact naman 'to. I'm just kidding." she clarified while giggling

"Ewan ko sayo, pwede ba lumipat ka nalang ng upuan? Ginugulo mo 'ko eh." sabi ko while pointing my lips to the other available seat sa kabilang side

"Why are you pointing your lips? Do you want kiss ba?" she asked 

"Shut up."

"Eto naman eh, pakipot pa. Just tell me if gusto mo kiss ha? I'll give it to you for free" sabi niya sakin sabay wink

"For God's sake Mikha Lim, if nandito ka lang para guluhin ako, please leave. I don't want you here." I clearly uttered

"Eto naman di mabiro. I just want to get to know you more. Yves told me na may pasok ka ngayon.  So I decided to come here" she whispered since napansin niyang parang nakatingin na si Prof. Angeles sa may puwesto namin.

Haynako, it's Yves again. Ano bang suhol binigay netong babaeng 'to dun? 

"Don't be mad at her. Pinilit ko lang naman siya na sagutin yung tanong ko if may pasok ka ba or wala" she added

"No, I'm not mad at her. Sayo, oo kaya manahimik kana." I frustratingly stated since wala na 'kong maintindihan sa sinasabi ni Prof. Angeles.

Tumango lang siya sakin sabay ngiti. 

Jusko. I can't with this woman. This is a 2-hr session, ano bang balak niyang gawin? Tumunganga?

Hindi pa nga umaabot ng kalahating oras I noticed na tinitignan nanaman niya ako

"Why are you staring at me?" I asked without looking at her

"You're pretty" she clearly said kaya napatingin ako sakanya 

Our eyes met, and her serious gaze made it clear she meant what she said. I suddenly felt nervous and realized how awkward and embarrassing my texts to her were. I quickly looked away as I couldn't handle her gaze.

"Why? Diba confident ka naman na you're pretty? You even told me through text na 'You're super duper gwapa" she said, obviously making fun of me.

"Please stop, Mikha" I firmly said

"Crush mo ata ako kaya ka nandito 'no?" I jokingly added.

Akala niya ata 'di ko siya kayang sakyan.

"I can't say that yet but the day I saw you, nung kinalabit kita to tell you na maling luggage yung nakuha mo, I can't lie, I'm mesmerized with your beauty Aiah." 

"Sus, nambola pa. Serious mo naman masyado. Sige na, bibigyan kita ng autograph mamaya" I jokingly said to change the mood. 

"Luh, I'm not after your autograph. Baka nga ikaw pa humingi sakin niyan eh" 

"Bakit? Sino ka ba?" I straightly asked 

"I'm Mikha Lim" she answered


"Your future girlfriend" she proudly added while looking at me.

"Ohh ohh nagblush ka? Gusto mo 'yon? Hahaha" she laughingly said

"Ikaw ha, it hasn't been a week pa nga lang since makilala mo 'ko tapos gusto mo na agad ako." she added, obviously having fun na asarin ako.

"Tumigil ka nga. Ikaw nga tong pumunta sakin dito para lang masilayan ganda ko" I uttered while pretending to fix my hair

She suddenly burst into laughter, covering her mouth to keep herself from making too much noise.


"You caught me there" she plainly said, shaking her head.

"Of course and I will always have a rebuttal." I arrogantly said.

I admit, I may not have learned a single lesson from this session but I enjoyed talking to this girl sitting next to me.

"So, ano namang natutunan mo today Ate Aiah?" I heard Stacey suddenly said

Nabigla ako since akala ko di siya papasok sa subject na 'to. She told me earlier na she'll skip this session since ayaw niya makita si Prof. Angeles. 

She's still traumatized nung pinansin siya ni Sir when she was wearing full pink - pink bag, pink tops, pink pants, pink everything. Although, she's aware na nagjojoke lang si Prof., big deal pa din yun sakanya since sinabihan siya ni Sir infront of the whole class.

"She learned a lot actually," Mikha answered on my behalf. "She learned a lot of my facial features. She can't focus kasi eh, she kept on staring at me." She added while smiling

"Aba, ang kapal mo naman Miss Mikha Lim, ikaw 'tong titig na titig sakin eh" I uttered, rolling my eyes in disbelief

"Ano ba. 'Wag na nga kayo magturuan. I've been here the whole time, hinayaan ko lang kayo sa bangayan niyo but I heard everything." sabi ni Stacey while looking at me na may halong pang aasar

Napayuko nalang ako. Sure ako na makakarating agad 'to sa girls.
