UNDERCOVER PART 14

AIAH'S POV

I just woke up and immediately reached for my phone to check if there was a message from Mikha.

There was indeed a message from her, and I also had a bunch of notifications from the X app.

I decided to check my Twitter first.

I smiled when I saw her tweet, but I grinned even wider when I read the replies and saw her response to a specific person.

After reading all the replies, I closed Twitter and quickly opened the Messaging app to read the text notification I had received earlier.

I smiled when I saw her text and murmured to myself, "Here she is with that 'love' again."

I don't dislike being called "love." in fact, I feel fluttered every time she says it, but I think, it feels a bit early for that. Well, whatever, I'll let her do what she wants.

After sending my text, I quickly got up and went out of my room.

"Good morning, everyone!" I greeted the girls cheerfully

"Ganda nang gising ah" Jho simply uttered while busy with her laptop


"Ganyan ang umaga pag may Mikha Lim na naggo-goodmorning" pangaasar ni Loi


"Ay sa true lang 'te. Pero pag normal na umaga lang, 'di lang yan iimik. Parang lutang na naglalakad hahahahaha" dagdag naman si Stacey sabay tawa ng malakas


"Ako na naman pulutan niyo eh" I responded, rolling my eyes


"Ganun talaga, masanay ka na. Not new for me" saad naman ni Jho


"Di ba Jho? Kaya ikaw Jho, go ka na kay West para maganda na rin lagi umaga mo" Staks uttered, wanting to start a bicker with Jhoanna


"Alam mo Staks, maligo ka na. Baka gusto mong 'di kita ipagdrive today lalo na't wala naman akong pasok" Jho responded 


"Joke lang naman, Jho eh. Sorry naaa, love you. Pagdrive mo pa din ako ah?" Staks quickly went over to hug Jho, trying to make up and apologize.


"Alis na nga. Payakap yakap ka pa eh. Wala naman akong choice, ginawa mo 'kong driver 'di ba?" saad ni Jho while crossing her arms

MIKHA'S POV

I don't have classes today, but I have some urgent business matters to attend to.

I also forgot that I need to log into our club's web portal to check the details my dad sent. I'm curious to find out who the former member is, and I also want to see kung sino ang mamanmanan ko.

I opened the portal and logged in, and saw that my dad had only sent me a photo of the former member, which looked quite familiar.

There was also a message from the portal:

LIM1: More details to follow. That's the photo of our former member.


"Ang seryoso mo naman" I heard West speak, so I quickly closed the portal on my laptop.


"Andito ka pala, mukhang new home mo na 'tong condo ko ah. Dito kana kaya tumira?" I jokingly stated


"Puwede ba? Hahahaha" tanong naman ni West


"Of course, but you'll pay me 100k every month" I responded


"Wow ang OA mo naman, 'wag nalang" sagot naman ni West kaya napangiti nalang ako


"Kakarating mo lang ba?" I asked West


"Luh, 'di mo 'ko narinig pumasok kagabi? HAHAHA, dito ako natulog" she answered


"Magpalit na kaya ako ng passcode?"  pangasar ko sakaniya


"Piste. Edi go, palit na din ako ng kaibigan" sagot naman niya sabay simangot


"Eto naman, 'di mabiro eh" I simply stated


"Saan ka ba today?" West suddenly asked.


"Wala, may gagawin lang important" simpleng sagot ko kay West


"Are you still on it? Same pa rin ba gawa mo?" West asked in a more serious tone


"What do you mean?" I asked, confused with what West suddenly asked me.


"I know, Mikhs. 'Di mo naman kelangan itago sakin eh. Alam ko na siya matagal na since I unintentionally heard you talked to your dad over the phone." she explained kaya nabigla ako lalo


"So all this time alam mong I work as an Undercover Agent sa organization ni Dad?"  I asked West, trying to calm myself 


Tumango lang si West then she said, "Yes, I know na ganyan trabaho mo but hindi ko alam yung ibang details. You don't need to share it to me naman if it's confidential"

I facepalmed when I heard West say that.

I shouldn't disclose to anyone, even my friends, that I work as an undercover agent. I trust West, and I know she won't spread this information.


"Can I ask a favor?" I uttered in a more serious tone.


Tumango lang si West, then smiled.


"Please don't share that information with anyone, even Gwen,"  I asked pleadingly


"You can trust me on that" West reassured me with a smile, as if to say that my secret is safe with her.
