I find myself staring at her, taking in every detail of her face.
"You love me naman, 'di ba?" I asked while smiling.
She looked pretty flustered by the sudden question I'd thrown at her.
"What kind of question is that, Ms. Mikhayla Jann Lim?" she a...
I woke up past 11 and noticed that Aiah was missing from beside me. I quickly fixed my hair and headed out, confident that she was just outside with the other girls.
When I came out of the room, I saw only Jho and Stacey sitting on the couch, watching a movie.
"Where's Aiah?" I asked.
"Is she with Yves?" I added.
"No, nagmamadali siyang umalis kanina," Jho replied, and Stacey nodded in agreement.
"What? Mag-isa lang siya? It's already late, baka mapano pa yun," I said, concerned.
"Yes, she mentioned na pupunta raw siya sa bahay ng Dad niya, so it might be an emergency family matter," Stacey explained.
"Okay, I guess I'll wait in her room then," I said, trying to sound calm.
"Kumain ka na, Mikhs. Tinirhan ka namin diyan. Pati si Ate Aiah, hindi pa kumakain," Jho told me.
"No, it's fine. I'm not hungry. So pati si Aiah hindi kumain?" I asked.
"Yeah, nagmamadali nga siya, ang kulit mo naman. Sundan mo nalang kaya?" Jho said, slightly annoyed since nadidistorbo ko na ang panonood nila.
"Antayin ko nalang and i-message ko nalang din if magpapasundo siya," I replied.
As I entered the room, my stomach growled loudly. I knew I was hungry, but even though I tried to act okay earlier, hindi pa rin mawala sa isip ko ang gustong ipagawa ni Mr. Lee
I couldn't do that to Aiah. I love her more than anything, and I would do whatever it takes to protect her.
I looked for my phone and found it on the table. I quickly opened it and I saw that there were two unread messages from Dad. I ignored it muna since alam kong it was about my mission kaya binuksan ko nalang ang messaging app to send a text to Aiah.

I'd sent the messages a few minutes ago, but Aiah still hadn't replied. Maybe she was just busy. Kaya dinistract ko muna sarili ko and I started watching TikTok clips.
I lost track of time, and before I knew it, it was already 2 a.m., and Aiah still wasn't back or responding. Baka tulog na 'yon but I'm still worried.
