MIKHA'S POV

I still can't process what happened between Aiah and me, and I find myself crying every night. I'm back in Manila now, and it's been two days since everything fell apart. Yves and West keep messaging me, but I can't find the courage to tell them what really happened—especially Yves, na wala naman kaalam alam kung ano talaga ako.

I miss Aiah so much, but she blocked me everywhere on social media.

It feels like my world has collapsed, and I can't find anyone to turn to. I know West and Gwen are there for me, but I just can't open up right now.

As I continued to ponder, another message from Loi came in.

I had no choice but to check it this time.

I just smiled, feeling Yves's concern through her message, but it couldn't ease the pain I'm feeling right now

I just smiled, feeling Yves's concern through her message, but it couldn't ease the pain I'm feeling right now.

Is it possible na tanggalin na lang 'tong puso ko so I don't have to feel this pain anymore?

I need Aiah more than anything. She's my comfort, my safe haven, my everything. I can't even imagine my life without her.

YVES LOI'S POV

"West, can you please go see Mikha? Puro ka Jhoanna eh" I said to West, who was sitting next to Jho and Ate Aiah.

Ate Aiah didn't seem to be flustered at all; her expression was blank.

The Aiah in front of me now was completely different, and I couldn't read her at all.

"Bakit ba? Siya nalang kaya pumunta dito" West complained, scratching her head.

I glared at her. "Susunod ka o 'di kana makakapasok ulit dito sa condong 'to?"

"Ayaw ko nga, 'di naman nagchat sa 'kin na kailangan niya ako eh," West argued.

"Aba? Nangangatwiran kapa ha?" I said sarcastically.

"Mikhs needs you, okay?" I insisted, giving her a look that clearly signaled it was about Ate Aiah and Mikha.

She seemed to understand and quickly got up, saying goodbye to Jho before heading out.

I couldn't find the right moment to talk to Ate Aiah alone, and natatakot rin ako.

This was the first time I had seen Ate Aiah like this, and even approaching her seems hard for me.

I still wanted to try though.  I knew Ate Aiah was hurting too, especially after learning she and Mikha were no longer together.

It was shocking to me because I could see how much they loved each other. I didn't understand what went wrong, as they seemed fine the last time they were together in the condo.

"A-ate Aiah? Can we talk?" I slowly asked

She nodded and smiled. "Of course."

"What happened?" I gathered the courage to ask the question that had been on my mind.

"What happened with what?" she asked, her expression unchanged.

"With you and Mikha?" I clarified.

"It just didn't work out," she replied.

I wanted to know more but her expression says otherwise.

"Ba't andito pa kayo? 'Diba lahat tayo may pasok in 20 minutes?" Stacey suddenly chimed in

"Oo, aalis na din naman ako" I answered

I'm not planning na makisabay today since may sarili rin akong lakad after so I need my own service

Pumasok muna ako ng kwarto para kunin ang gamit ko and I noticed na sumunod din sakin si Stacey

"Anong nangyari dun?" Stacey asked out of curiosity, referring to Ate Aiah

"It's not for me to tell eh" I responded then shrugged my shoulders

"Sabihin mo na kasiiii, pacurious naman masyado eh" pagpupumilit ni Staks

"She and Mikhs broke up" I answered

"I don't know the reason but i-respect muna natin si Ate Aiah if ayaw niya pa magshare, 'wag mamilit okay?"
I told Stacey, who nodded in agreement.

After grabbing my things, sumabay din sa 'kin si Stacey papalabas ng room. We noticed that Ate Aiah hadn't left yet.

"Sasabay ka ba samin ni Jho, Ate Aiah?" Stacey asked.

"No, I'll skip for now," she replied briefly.

I was right. Ate Aiah was hurting but trying to hide it.

Ate Aiah would never miss a single class. She's a dean's lister and absolutely hates being absent.

Nauna na akong bumaba. I headed to the parking lot and started driving to school. As I was leaving the building, I saw Mikha's car parked near the entrance.

I was in a hurry, so I didn't stop to check, assuming na kasama niya si West.

After about 15 minutes, I arrived at school. As I got out of my car, I saw West just getting out of hers.

Upon confirming na si West nga 'yon, I became even more curious about why Mikha was alone and kung ano ba ang ginagawa niya 'dun.

I approached West to ask if napuntahan niya ba talaga si Mikha.

"West, si Mikha?" I asked immediately.

"Yes, hello boss," she replied with a mock salute.

"Ewan ko sa'yo," I said.

"Wala siya nung pumunta ako sa condo niya," she said.

"Hindi rin siya sumasagot sa chat, text, o call. Hindi ko na maantay pa dahil may pasok din ako," she added.

"So baka nga siya yung nakita ko sa entrance ng building," I muttered.

"Malamang pupunta siya dun, andun ang girlfriend niya eh," West said sarcastically.

"Wala na sila," I told her.

"Huh?! Seryoso ka ba?" she asked, clearly surprised.

"Mukha ba akong nagjojoke?" I replied.

"Maging mabuting kaibigan ka naman, absent ka na. Puntahan mo siya baka amagin sa kakahintay kay Ate Aiah," I joked, trying to lighten the mood and ease my own worry.
