UNDERCOVER PART 11

AIAH'S POV

I still can't get over with what happened earlier. The thought that Mikha's courting me keeps swirling in my mind. I'm hopeful that as we spend more time together, we'll truly get to know each other better.

Even though alam ko sa sarili kong I am now starting to like Mikha and nasasanay na rin akong kausap at kaasaran siya, the idea of diving into a relationship still scares me. It's my first time navigating these waters, and while I like Mikha, I can't yet say that I feel the deep love required for such a commitment.

As I ponder what happened and think about the future, I've decided to share the picture I took earlier.

 

I smiled as I posted the tweet. Just as I was about to close the Twitter app, I noticed that there were already replies.

Natawa ako while reading their replies lalo na kay Stacey.


Jhoanna really likes West, it was recently lang when she admitted to us na gusto niya din 'to but she said na she's not ready pa na pumasok sa relationship. She wants to focus on her studies daw muna.


To be honest, I was too busy siguro with my life kaya 'di ko to kilala or napapansin sila West but of course kilala ko si Gwen as girlfriend ni bunso.


Stacey told me the other day na matagal na daw talagang gusto ni Jhoanna si West, since first year college palang daw kaya kilalang kilala na nila 'to. Stacey really knows almost everything about Jho since elementary palang magbestfriend na yan sila. Nung una nga akala ko magjowa sila.

"You okay? Tulala ka ata" Jeremy suddenly asked


"So totoo nga na dito ka na rin nagenroll" I uttered as response


"Bakit? Ayaw mo ba?" he jokingly asked while poking my cheeks


"No, hindi naman. 'Di ka na ba babalik ng Canada?" I asked Jeremy


"Hindi na. Maybe in the future? I have no money na para bumalik dun eh" he answered


"Joke lang hahaha. Mas gusto ko dito eh" he added while laughing


"Ohh! I thought you were serious eh, bibigyan sana kita ng pera for your plane ticket and allowance, gusto mo bumalik na ngayon?" 


I was shocked when I heard Mikha say those words. As I looked at her, her serious expression and piercing gaze were fixed on Jeremy, her lips curling into a smirk.


"And who are you?" Jeremy asked while raising his eyebrows


"She's Mikhs" I answered on behalf of Mikhs


"Yes, I'm Mikhayla Jann Lim. I'm Aiah's future girlfriend" She stated it firmly, her eyes unwavering and her serious gaze unflinching.

"Is she jealous?" I wondered to myself.

I looked down, a smile spreading across my face as I couldn't hide the thrill of the thought that she might be jealous.

"Future girlfriend pa lang naman pala eh" Jeremy uttered while smirking 


"Jeremy, stop na" I stated 


"Let's go Mikhs. Kain na tayo, I'm hungry na eh" saad ko sabay hawak sa kamay ni Mikhs para hilahin ito papalayo

Mikha flashed a broad smile and stuck her tongue out at Jeremy.

"God, this woman," I laughed, shaking my head.  

"Mikhs naman..Para kang bata pag nagseselos eh" I teasingly said


"Yes, 'cause I'll be your baby 'di ba?" she proudly answered while winking


"Oh shut up! Parang ang taas naman ng confidence mo" I jokingly said 


"Siyempre. I know you like me too eh" Mikhs uttered


"You're still holding my hand pa nga eh" she added kaya napabitaw ako bigla since nakalimutan kong hawak ko pa pala kamay niya 


"Ewan ko sa'yo. Wala na, 'di na pala. Pwede ba i-cancel yung pag yes ko sa'yo kanina?" I responded while trying hard not to laugh since biglang kumunot yung noo niya


"NO! Walang cancellation yun. Once confirmed, cancellation's not allowed" she firmly said, crossing her arms


"Holding hands agad while walking? Tandaan ninyo 'di pa kayo ah" I heard Loi's voice, so I quickly turned to look behind us.

I saw Loi walking in our direction, shaking her head as she spoke.


"True lang Yves. 'Di pa nga kami pero hinahawakan na agad kamay ko. Gusto niya raw makipagholding hands eh" Mikhs answered habang natatawa, she's obviously making fun of me.

I glared at her in frustration, which only made her laugh more.

"You look cute when you're mad, love," she said, staring directly at me.

"Huy, mag hunus dili ka nga Mikha Lim. Love agad? 'Di pa nga kayo eh" Loi chimed in, responding to Mikha's words.


"Dun din naman yun papunta eh"  Mikha answered, "Diba love?" she asked while looking at me


I looked down, feeling shy and unsure how to respond. I knew she was just teasing me, but I couldn't help the butterflies fluttering in my stomach.

I feel so cringed hearing the word love as an endearment before, but now I am slowly learning that it's so good to hear pala especially if it's from someone you'd want to hear it from.


"Wala na. 'Di na sumagot si Arceta. Kinilig na lalo" pangaasar ni Loi kaya tinitigan ko nalang siya ng masama
