UNDERCOVER PART 18

AIAH'S POV 

It's been almost three weeks since it happened—since my first heartbreak. I've been trying to be cautious and avoid relationships if possible kasi ayaw ko masaktan eh, but it felt so different with Mikhs, I thought she was serious with me pero mali ako.


For now, I'm just trying to move on and stay positive with whatever I'm doing.

It's tough, especially since I had fallen for Mikha, but she doesn't want me anymore. It hurts, but I have to accept that maybe we just weren't meant for each other. 


Well, I admit, I miss her, I really do kaso ayaw ko namang ipagsiksikan pa ang sarili ko sakanya lalo na't ayaw naman na pala niya sakin and I've never seen her ever since, kahit dito sa school 'di ko siya makita that's why it's really better for me to just move on.

As my thoughts kept wandering, my phone suddenly rang. I saw that it was a call from Dad.

I quickly answered the phone and heard my dad's voice right away. "Aiah, anak?"

"Yes, Dad?" I asked softly.

"I'm just calling to check on you. It seems you forgot to visit me after your LU trip, and I also forgot to follow up with you because I've been busy these past few weeks," he said.

"Sorry po. It completely slipped my mind," I responded.

"It's okay, anak. Can you come over today? Let's have lunch together," he asked.

"Sure, Dad. I have nothing to do naman po" I replied.

"Great, I'll see you then, my princess. Love you," he said before hanging up.


After hanging up the phone, I noticed Loi staring at me.

"What?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.


"Wala naman, you look like a dog pala" she responded while laughing


"Grabe ka bai, ginawa mo naman akong aso hahahaha" I responded, also laughing at Loi's sudden remarks


As I was laughing, I saw Loi snap a picture of me.


What are you doing? Bakit mo naman ako pinicturan?" I asked


"Nothing, I'm just happy to see you smile," she said, rushing over to hug me tightly.


"I miss that Aiahbungisngis," she whispered.


"Sus, 'wag ka nang clingy, bai. Baka mainlove ka sa akin," I joked.


"Yuck! No, 'wag ka ngang ganun!" she exclaimed, pulling away from the hug.


"I'm just kidding, Loi. But really, thank you for always being there," I said sincerely.

Loi just nodded and said, "I'll post this, Aiahbabes. You look so cute."

"Tss. If-flex mo lang ang maganda mong bestfriend eh," I replied with a hint of arrogance.

"Woah, narinig ko nanaman ang kayabangan ni Ate Aiah," Jho suddenly chimed in, joining our conversation.

"Luh, makikisali pa sa usapan. Bumaba ka na, inaantay ka na ni West sa parking. Nagpapaka passenger princess ka na kay West eh," Stacey commented, causing Jho to roll her eyes.

West and Gwen remained close to us, but we haven't heard anything about Mikhs. Gwen mentioned that Mikha is still enrolled at our school, but Loi said she rarely sees Mikha in their shared classes. She's been also quiet on social media.

I know na nasaktan niya ako, but I'm still hoping she's okay, especially since she once told me that the last time she suddenly disappeared was because she had been kidnapped. 


As I was about to take a sip of the coffee I'd been drinking for a while, I noticed my phone light up kaya kinuha ko agad 'to

Loi had indeed posted my picture on her Twitter.

I read through the replies and smiled at their remarks.


 I just hope na iwasan nila masyado magparinig since baka mabasa ni Mikha Lim. I don't want any negativity in life.


"Staks, next time don't make parinig na ha? I just want to stay positive. Hayaan na natin 'yon. Nangyari na eh" I called out Stacey.


"Napakabait mo masyado Ate Aiah. You're the greenest flag of all the green flag. Baka gusto mo din magalit at magtanim ng sama ng loob paminsan-minsan" Stacey uttered


"Nope. I don't want that. Mai-stress lang ako niyan. As I kept on saying, let Go and let God" I told her


"Hays. Nakakatakot na tuloy ako. Siguro ibang iba ang ugali mo if magalit ka man and I don't want that to happen" saad ni Stacey

I just laughed at her comments. Indeed, I rarely get angry, but I do have my limits. I just don't want to hold onto anger for too long. I prefer to stay positive and focus on the good things in life.
