UNDERCOVER PART 23

AIAH'S POV


It's been two weeks since I started dating Mikha. Time really does fly, but each day feels like a joy because Mikha's always around.

It still feels surreal, and I think I must be the luckiest person to be Mikha's girlfriend. She is incredibly consistent and has this wonderful habit of always wanting to help out, kahit na kaya ko naman gawin ang isang bagay, she insists on stepping in, saying it's to make sure I don't have to struggle.


It's funny and endearing, and I'm getting more and more used to having Mikha always around.

"Dito ka na kaya tumira?" Loi asked, crossing her arms. She seemed to be talking to Mikha, who was cooking breakfast for us.

"Totoo, Mikhs, tutal lagi ka naman nandito eh," Stacey chimed in.

"Sus, gusto niyo naman yan at si Mikhs laging nagluluto ng breakfast," Jho added.

"Wow ha? Itlog lang niluluto sa atin tapos kay Ate Aiah, may bacon pa, may tocino, tapos may milk pa," Staks commented, making Mikha laugh.

"Girls, bakit niyo naman pinagkakaisahan si Mikha?" I asked, joining their conversation.

"Kaya nga, love, they can't seem to appreciate my efforts," Mikha pouted.

"Ay hala, siya, nagpababy na," Loi remarked.

"Wag ka na mabigla, batak yan magpababy eh," Stacey said.

"At oo nga pala, siguro  may ginawa kayo kagabi, 'no?" Loi suddenly said.

 
"Ano 'yung naririnig naming ingay kagabi ni Staks galing sa kwarto niyo?! Kayo ha," she uttered with a knowing glance, seemingly suspicious. I was taken aback, feeling like all the blood rushed to my face.

"At nagbublush pa nga si ate mo, girl," Staks added.

"Tumigil nga kayo! Andumi ng utak niyo! Naglalaro lang kami ng CODM, okay?" Mikha explained.


It was true; I was so frustrated last night because we played 1v1 and she kept killing me as if 'di niya ako girlfriend

"Ohh hahaha so that explains what we heard, 'ang sakit naman Mikhs, ba't mo naman ako tinusok nun' HAHAHA," Loi said, laughing.

"HAHAHAHAHAH it was a spear, tinusok ko siya ng spear sa CODM," Mikha laughed hard at Loi's remark.

"My God, babastos niyo!" I exclaimed, turning around and walking towards the living room.

Mikha immediately chased after me and wrapped her arms around me from behind.


"Love, are you mad?" Her deep voice whispered into my ear, sending shivers down my spine.


"No, I was just thinking about our 1v1 match. I won't play that game ever again," I said firmly, remembering how I had asked her for just one kill, but she didn't give it to me.


"Love...are you still hung up on that?" she asked softly, her arms still around me.


"Yes, nakakainis ka kasi, lagi mo akong pinapatay," I replied, crossing my arms.


"HAHAHAHA, well, were you expecting me to go easy on you?" she laughed.


"At nakuha mo pa talagang tumawa at mang-asar huh," I said, shaking my head.


"Joke lang naman eh! Don't be mad. How about labas tayo mamaya? I'll take you on a date," she whispered, hugging me tighter.


"JUSKO! UMAGANG-UMAGA KELALANDI!" Sheena exclaimed as she came out of her room, causing Mikha and me to burst into laughter.


Suddenly, Mikha pulled me into the bedroom, catching me off guard.


"HOY! IT'S EARLY IN THE MORNING HA!!!" Staks shouted from the kitchen


"Can we cuddle muna?" Mikha asked with her puppy eyes and pouty lips.


"No, let's have breakfast. Baka maubos nila yung niluto mo," I responded.


"Cuddle, please?" she begged, tugging at my arm.


"NO! You're being too clingy, Ms. Mikhayla Jann Lim," I teased.


"Just 5 minutes? Pleaseeee?" she pleaded.


I found myself unable to resist her charm. I sighed and gave in.


"Thanks. I needed to recharge, napagod ako kakaprito eh," Mikha murmured, burying her face in my neck as she hugged me tightly.


"Ewan ko sayo," I said, then hugged her back.


"I love you so much, my Aiah Quinn," she whispered, her voice gentle and filled with emotion.


 The words sent a thrill through me, and I felt that familiar flutter of butterflies in my stomach, as if it's my first time hearing it.


"I love you too, love," I responded, my voice soft and tender. I pulled her closer, savoring the closeness and the way her warmth seemed to melt into mine.


"Love na love mo naman ako, lipat kana kaya dito?" I murmured


She smiled against my neck, her breath warm and comforting. "Can I?"  she asked


"I'm just joking," I said with a smile kaya napatingin siya sa akin


"So, in the future, ayaw mong magkasama tayo sa iisang bahay or apartment?" she asked, furrowing her eyebrows


"Of course, I do! I was just kidding," I replied, a playful glint in my eye. "Gusto mo lipat kana?"


"Okay, I'll bring my things here later," she said firmly, her eyes sparkling with excitement.


I couldn't help but laugh since obvious na obvious na excited siya.


"So, wala talagang sasagot sa akin?" a familiar voice called out, kaya naman napalingon agad kami ni Mikha sa pinto and we found out that it was Loi.


"I've been knocking for ages, pero ni isa sainyo walang sumasagot," Loi explained with a grin. "Just wanted to let you know na mauubos na ni Shee yung niluto mong breakfast, so you might want to eat up."


"Yves naman eh. We're cuddling," Mikha said, rolling her eyes.


"Ang landi mo talaga e 'no," Loi teased with a smirk.


"You know what, love? 'Di na ako lilipat dito. Ikaw nalang ang lumipat sa condo ko so we won't have any abala," Mikha said, looking at me with a playful challenge. I laughed, watching as she seemed to be starting a playful argument with Loi.


"Fine, then just bring Ate Aiah sa condo mo. Kami nalang muna dito sa condo mo Aiahbabes ha?" Loi suggested.


"Loi, I've already told you—it's OUR condo, alright?" I responded.


Loi just nodded, then added with a smirk, "Go na, isama mo na si Ate Aiah. Ang sakit sa mata makita kayo every morning na naglalandian." She gave us a teasing look before turning to head out.
