Raiden stands in front of the many rows of bottles, looking them up and down to figure out what his next big buy will be. Raiden isn't typically one to spend a lot of money on food or drinks, nevertheless alcohol.

Yet here he is, in a liquor store, figuring out what wine he plans to bring home today. And you're probably wondering what on earth prompted Raiden to suddenly go out and buy alcohol, and even in order to bring it back home and share it with no other than Seki Masahiro.

Well, the case is that... after the arcade, things have taken a turn in the Masahiro household. Raiden doesn't know how things turned out that way, but there has been no end to their outings. Like a dark spiral (in Raiden's head), he has been caught up in spending more time with Seki than anyone could have ever imagined.

It's like the arcade was just a kick-starter to the many other things you can do with friends, and with someone like Seki, there's absolutely no end to the things they could do. The man has never even set foot in an amusement park or played sports. The possibilities have been endless, so Raiden has found himself caught up in something very strange.

Like he said, he wanted to show the supreme what humans spend their time doing, but he never thought it would reach this level. And that he might even look forward to it too...

At this point, he's going on outings with Seki multiple times a week. He still convinces himself it's to keep the pact satisfied, but it won't be long before he can't defend that they are spending more time together than actually necessary.

They have played board games, went to the movies, went to the zoo, done a puzzle on 5000 pieces, done karaoke, went to an escape room... the list is endless. It must have been about three or four weeks of them just trying out everything between heaven and earth.

It's strange.

Raiden doesn't know where things started to spiral in this direction. Maybe because after the arcade, he said that Seki had to plan their next 'event' together. That turned out to be board games, which Raiden didn't think he would be a huge fan off. But after loosing to Seki in almost 20 rounds, but then finally beating the supreme in their last game (viciously taunting the elder about that fact), Raiden found himself emerged in it.

It turned out to be a good experience once again, unfortunately.

And of course... Seki had to counter attack by saying that Raiden should then plan the next thing. And therefore, they have just been going back and forth in order to find something to do. It has almost become a game at this point. And with both of them having a competitive nature, there has been no end to their activities together.

Raiden reaches a hand out and grabs a bottle of red wine, seeing the label state '50 years special', even though the bottle is on a discount. "Lucky ~ " Raiden mumbles to himself, as he takes the wine and puts it into the small basket he's holding in his other hand.

Today is Friday, and unfortunately, his plans to go visit his dad were cancelled. Haru has a dinner meet with his colleagues from work, which means he will be out all evening. Therefore, Raiden figured he might as well stay at Seki's until Saturday.

Maybe he should have prioritized spending some time for himself... but for some reason, he didn't feel so bad about the thought of staying with Seki. And trust, he did spend all morning questioning why this was the case.

So, he settled on convincing himself that this is simply an opportunity given out of coincidence. Since it's the weekend, this is one of the rare days Seki and Raiden spend together where they don't have work or school the day after - and Raiden is extremely interested in what opportunities that affords.
