Raiden sits on his old creaky bed that he hasn't been sleeping in for a while, with his elbows resting on his knees, making his hands the perfect resting place for his head. He has been hiding his face in his hands for probably 20 minutes, contemplating whether he should actually make something of this day or just put an end to it all.
It's currently 11 am on Saturday, and the sun is shining through the curtains of Raiden's room back at Haru's house.
After what can only be describe as a disaster, Raiden rushed back to his father's home last night in a helpless attempt to escape the situation he had put him and Seki Masahiro in. Therefore, he didn't hesitate for one second after getting out of the pool... he grabbed his necessities and went out into the night, not looking back for even a second.
Haru didn't even know he was back home before he saw Raiden's shoes in the entrance this morning, finding his son wide awake in his bed at 6 am. It wasn't hard to tell that something had happened, but Raiden was quick to push it all under the rug and tell has father that he's okay.
But he isn't okay, and the reason he didn't spill everything to his father and tried to go back to sleep is because he hasn't even fully managed to collect his thoughts on his own yet.
Because honestly, he doesn't know what to think.
His eyes are completely swollen and he feels like he hasn't been able to sleep for a second since he stepped inside this place. Not to mention the pounding headache from his both mental and physical hangover isn't exactly helping the case, making waking up 10 times harder than usual.
Gently, the male rubs his face in his hands before finally allowing his eyes to be expose to the bare yet familiar room of his.
Why did he get so drunk? Allowing himself to lose control like that was a bad choice, and the worst part is that he remembers every bit so clearly it's almost burning his retina as he tries to replay the whole evening before his eyes.
It started out so well, just like any of their other outings together... but he doesn't think any of them expected it would take a turn like that.
It's a situation so catastrophic that Raiden has been feeling nothing but sick to his stomach all night. Many might argue that he's overreacting, but as Raiden keeps turning his whole relation to Seki over and over again in his head, he can't help but feel extremely uneasy from this turn of events.
Because deep down... does he even know Seki that well? Sure, they have been hanging out a bit and got to know each other, but Raiden doesn't know anything about the male. Not about his background (that's supposedly very bad) or the sides of his personality that only shows itself in times of crisis.
Even though Raiden has tried to find out what Seki does with his time and what he entertains himself with, he feels that it has been so hard to drag anything out of the supreme. His hobbies are mostly forced from his constantly loneliness that has kept him indoor most of his life, and the few things Raiden has learned about him so far feels to have been shown more out of kindness than sincerity.
He's glad it feels like Seki has been kind and welcoming towards him... but at the same time, has Raiden really managed to break down any of the walls the elder has up around himself? Walls that seem unintentional, but as still so damning in the way Seki interacts with others.
At first, Raiden thought it was him who had his walls up, but Seki seemingly learned a lot about the endear even from the moment they bonded. And with Raiden's loud mouth, it's not a surprise that both the good and the ugly sides to him has never been hidden from others. But the only information Raiden can gather about the supreme is from the man himself...
