Alma glanced over at the now sleeping woman beside her in bed, looking over her closely. The tears on Julia's cheeks were long gone, dry tear marks on them instead.

The ymbryne sighed, scooting in closer to where the woman was and pulled her into her arms by the waist, her arm resting alongside her hip and her forehead leaning against her back.

The older woman found the woman's hand and carefully took it in hers, the warmth in Julia's palm oddly comforting as she shut her eyes to try and fall asleep herself.

The older woman carefully placed a kiss on the back of her neck, smelling the woody scent of her hair when she did. She placed another behind her ear before laying back down behind her, her arm still wrapped around Julia's waist.

The ymbryne was feeling guilty at first when the younger woman rolled over on to her other side, Alma thinking she had woke her but was relieved to see the gentle tired smile on the woman's lips. Julia leaned over, placing a soft and tired kiss on the woman's lips before resting her head by her chest.

"Go to sleep." Julia mumbled, her words slightly slurred as she felt herself drifting off again.

"Are you okay?"

The younger woman opened her eyes and looked at her confused, Alma meeting her gaze and sending her a worried one.

"Sure." She replies quietly, a bit caught off guard from the sudden question and shut her eyes once more to avoid further questioning.

"You didn't seem so earlier." Alma says quietly, looking over her and Julia sent her a slightly irritated look. "You're hiding something from me."

"I am not, drop it will you?" The younger woman snaps, turning over to rest on her other side, facing away from her.

"You cried yourself to sleep in my arms, Julia. I'm not going to drop it until you tell me." Alma presses, caring about her but Julia mistook it as she was being nosy.

"Alma, anyone would be upset when they found out they killed their own God damn father!" She snaps, sitting up and sending her a sharp look. Seeing the slight surprise on the older womans face, Julia sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose.

"I didn't mean to snap, just enough questions until I sort this out myself." She says firmly and meets her gaze. "If you don't, I'm sleeping down stairs." She says and Alma fell quiet as Julia got back under the covers, pulling them up to her shoulder to avoid the woman's gaze, hoping she wouldn't talk to her. Especially now that slight tears grew in her eyes.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to pry." She hears the ravenette say softly, then feeling the bed move just a moment as she layed back down, her back facing hers. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight." Julia replies, looking towards the window as she tried to stop her mind from racing.

She knows what Barron did with her mother and it hurt so much to finally realize that she was wrong. Wrong about what she assumed happened. She always thought her mother died at a young age, leaving only her and her father who she always believed was Barron, but her veins felt fiery from the information she just processed and it made it difficult not to shout into her pillow a whole list of profanities.

Julia sat up in bed with a sigh, unable to just rest with the information running through her hair. It made her too upset, she needed a distraction.

Standing from the bed, she glanced over when she heard the older woman:

"Where are you going?"

Julia looked over at her and then back at the bed, then back on Alma who looked up at her uncertain.
