The members are jealous! (┬┬_┬┬)

Sunoo had always been the type to thrive on social interactions, so it wasn’t surprising when he started hanging out with other idols and friends outside of ENHYPEN. It started gradually—just a lunch here and there, a few selfies with other groups, some late-night trips to cafés with friends from his trainee days. But as time went on, it became more frequent. He was going out almost every day, meeting up with people from other agencies, catching up with old friends, and posting about it all over social media.

At first, the other members didn’t think much of it. Sunoo had always been social, and they were busy with their own schedules—filming, practicing, working on new music, and handling the endless stream of activities that came with being in one of the top K-pop groups. But after a while, they started to notice that Sunoo wasn’t around as much. The dorm, which usually buzzed with his laughter and energy, felt quieter, emptier.

It wasn’t just that he was out more—it was who he was out with. Every time they scrolled through their phones, they saw pictures of Sunoo with someone else: laughing with Beomgyu from TXT, having a coffee with Yuna from ITZY, or even just wandering around Seoul with friends from other groups. And the more they saw, the more they started to feel a strange, uncomfortable feeling bubbling up inside them—jealousy.

Jake was the first to voice what they were all feeling. One night, after another day of scrolling through Instagram and seeing yet another photo of Sunoo with some other idols, he blurted out, “Does anyone else feel... weird about Sunoo hanging out with everyone but us?”

Heeseung, who had been trying to focus on writing lyrics, looked up and sighed. “Yeah, I’ve noticed it too. He’s been out a lot lately.”

Ni-ki, who was playing a game on his phone, paused and added, “He barely even asks us to hang out anymore. It’s like we’re not even on his radar.”

Jay, who was usually the most laid-back of the group, frowned. “I mean, I get that he wants to hang out with other people, but it feels like he’s avoiding us or something.”

Sunghoon, who had been quietly listening, finally spoke up. “Do you think we did something to upset him?”

Jungwon, the leader, had been thinking the same thing. He leaned back in his chair, deep in thought. “Maybe we’ve been too busy,” he suggested. “I know I’ve been caught up with meetings and stuff, and Heeseung’s been working on music nonstop. Maybe he just got tired of trying to get our attention.”

There was a collective sigh as the realization sunk in. They had been so focused on their individual schedules and responsibilities that they hadn’t even noticed Sunoo slipping away. And now, it was like they were the ones being left out.

“Man, I didn’t think it would get to this point,” Jake said, running a hand through his hair. “We should’ve made more time for him.”

“He’s probably just throwing a silent tantrum,” Ni-ki muttered, remembering how Sunoo could be when he was upset. “You know how he is—he’s not going to say anything directly. He’ll just act like nothing’s wrong and do his own thing.”

Jay groaned, flopping back onto the couch. “Great. So now what? Do we just wait for him to come around, or do we try to fix this?”

Jungwon shook his head. “We can’t just wait. We need to show him that we care, that we want to hang out with him too.”

“But how?” Sunghoon asked. “It’s not like we can just force him to stay home and hang out with us.”

Heeseung, who had been silent for a while, finally spoke up. “Maybe we don’t have to force him. What if we just... make an effort? Clear our schedules for a day, do something he likes, and remind him that we’re still here.”

The others nodded, agreeing that it was a good idea. They decided to plan a day just for Sunoo, something that would remind him of all the fun they used to have together.

But even as they made their plans, there was still that lingering feeling of jealousy. It wasn’t just that Sunoo was spending time with other people—it was the way he seemed so happy and carefree without them. They missed him, but they also couldn’t help feeling a little hurt that he seemed to be having the time of his life without them.

The next day, Sunoo came back to the dorm after yet another day out with his friends. As he walked in, he noticed the strange atmosphere right away. The members were all there, lounging around the living room, but they weren’t their usual lively selves. Instead, they looked at him with a mix of curiosity and something else he couldn’t quite place.

“Hey,” Sunoo greeted, kicking off his shoes. “What’s up?”

“We need to talk,” Jungwon said, trying to keep his tone light but failing to hide the seriousness in his voice.

Sunoo raised an eyebrow. “Okay... about what?”

“About you,” Jake said, not beating around the bush. “And how you’ve been spending more time with other people than with us.”

Sunoo blinked, caught off guard. He hadn’t expected them to bring it up so directly. “What do you mean? I’ve just been hanging out with my friends. You guys have been busy, so I didn’t want to bother you.”

“We get that,” Heeseung said, leaning forward, “but it feels like you’re avoiding us.”

“Or maybe even replacing us,” Ni-ki added quietly.

Sunoo stared at them, then let out a sudden burst of laughter. The members exchanged confused looks, not understanding what was so funny.

“Are you guys seriously jealous?” Sunoo asked, still chuckling. “I can’t believe this.”

“We’re not jealous!” Jay protested, but his tone suggested otherwise.

“Yeah, you are!” Sunoo teased, a wide grin on his face. “You’re totally jealous because I’ve been hanging out with other people.”

“Okay, maybe a little,” Sunghoon admitted, feeling slightly embarrassed.

Sunoo’s laughter died down, but the smile remained on his face. “You guys are ridiculous. I’m not replacing you. I just... I don’t know, I needed a break or something. You’ve all been so busy, and I didn’t want to just sit around waiting for you to have time for me.”

“We’re sorry,” Jungwon said, his voice sincere. “We didn’t realize we were making you feel like that.”

“It’s fine,” Sunoo said, waving it off. “I get it, we’ve all got stuff going on. But I have to admit, it was kind of funny seeing you all sulking like that.”

The tension in the room eased as the members started to relax. Sunoo’s teasing had diffused the situation, and now they could see how silly they had been.

“So, what do you say?” Jake asked, trying to lighten the mood even more. “Want to hang out with us today? We’ve got the whole day free, just for you.”

Sunoo considered it for a moment, then shrugged. “Sure, why not? But only if you promise not to get all clingy on me.”

The members laughed, relieved that Sunoo was back to his usual self. They spent the rest of the day together, just like old times, and for the first time in a while, everything felt right. The jealousy was gone, replaced by the familiar bond they all shared.

And as they joked and played games late into the night, Sunoo couldn’t help but think that, despite all the fun he’d had with his other friends, nothing compared to being with ENHYPEN. This was home, and no amount of time spent with others could ever change that.
