Sunghoon stood frozen in front of the dorm’s bathroom mirror, his hands gripping the counter as he leaned in close to inspect his reflection. His usually flawless eyebrows were a little bushier than normal—a tiny flaw, but enough to gnaw at his perfectionist tendencies. He tilted his head to the side, running a hand through his hair in frustration.

“Ugh, why is this so hard?” he muttered to himself, staring at the pair of scissors he’d grabbed earlier. He’d watched a few tutorials on his phone, but all of them seemed more complicated than they should be.

“Sunghoon, what are you even doing in here?” Sunoo’s voice cut through the silence as he peeked into the bathroom, holding a glass of iced water. He leaned casually against the doorframe, his fox-like eyes sparkling with curiosity. “You’ve been in here forever. Are you planning to move in?”

Sunghoon glanced at him through the mirror, lips pressed into a tight line. “I’m trying to fix my eyebrows, okay?”

Sunoo blinked, surprised. “Your eyebrows? What’s wrong with them?” He stepped closer, his curiosity now fully piqued.

“They’re… messy,” Sunghoon mumbled, scratching the back of his neck. “I thought I’d just trim them, but I’m worried I’ll mess them up and end up looking ridiculous.”

A soft laugh escaped Sunoo’s lips as he set the glass on the counter and folded his arms. “Park Sunghoon, the Ice Prince, is scared of trimming his eyebrows? Wow, this is gold.”

“Laugh all you want,” Sunghoon grumbled, his ears turning pink. “It’s not like I can just walk into a salon and ask for help. Fans would notice.”

Sunoo raised an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed by the excuse. “And instead of asking one of us for help, you decided to suffer in silence like a tragic drama lead?”

Sunghoon groaned, burying his face in his hands. “Are you going to help me or not?”

Sunoo grinned, taking his sweet time pretending to consider it. “Hmm, I don’t know. What’s in it for me?”

“The satisfaction of knowing you’ve helped your friend look better?” Sunghoon offered dryly.

Sunoo chuckled, shaking his head. “Nice try, but you’ll have to do better than that.”

“Fine,” Sunghoon sighed, throwing his hands up in surrender. “You’re the best at this stuff. Happy now?”

“Getting warmer.” Sunoo grabbed the grooming kit from the counter, his grin widening. “But I’ll take it. Now sit down.”

Sunghoon frowned, looking around. “Where?”

“On the toilet, obviously,” Sunoo replied, gesturing toward the closed lid. “Unless you want to stand and risk me messing up because my arm gets tired.”

Reluctantly, Sunghoon sat down, his long legs folding awkwardly in front of him. He gave Sunoo a wary look. “You’ve done this before, right?”

“Relax,” Sunoo said, rolling his eyes. “I’ve trimmed my own eyebrows and helped my sister with hers plenty of times. You’re in good hands.”

Sunghoon didn’t look convinced, his body stiff as Sunoo crouched in front of him and studied his face. “Okay, tilt your head back a little. And stop glaring at me like I’m about to stab you with these scissors.”

“I’m not glaring,” Sunghoon muttered, though his expression didn’t soften.

Sunoo clicked his tongue in annoyance, setting the scissors down for a moment. “You’re too tense. If you keep this up, we’ll be here all night. Scoot forward a bit.”

Sunghoon complied, though his brows furrowed in confusion. “Why?”

“Because,” Sunoo said, climbing onto his lap and straddling him without a second thought, “this is the only way to make sure you don’t move.”

Sunghoon’s eyes widened, his hands instinctively going to Sunoo’s waist to steady him. “Sunoo—what are you doing?”

“Keeping you still,” Sunoo said matter-of-factly, adjusting his position until he was comfortable. His knees pressed against Sunghoon’s thighs, and his face was inches away from his. “Now stop squirming, or I’ll accidentally shave off your whole eyebrow.”

Sunghoon’s face turned a deep shade of red, his heart racing for reasons he didn’t want to think about. “This feels… unnecessary.”

“Unnecessary is you staring at the mirror for an hour instead of asking for help,” Sunoo shot back, picking up the scissors again. “Now hold still.”

The room fell silent except for the soft snipping of the scissors. Sunoo’s fingers were gentle but firm as he tilted Sunghoon’s face to the side, carefully trimming the stray hairs. His brows furrowed in concentration, and his lips pursed slightly—a sight Sunghoon couldn’t help but notice.

“Stop staring at me,” Sunoo said without looking up, his tone teasing.

“I’m not,” Sunghoon lied, his blush deepening.

“You’re like a human radiator right now,” Sunoo said with a laugh, brushing off some loose hairs from Sunghoon’s brow. “Don’t tell me you’re blushing.”

“I’m not!” Sunghoon insisted, though the heat in his cheeks betrayed him.

Sunoo leaned back, inspecting his work with a satisfied smile. “There. Perfect. Take a look.”

He climbed off Sunghoon’s lap and handed him a small mirror. Sunghoon hesitated before looking, but when he finally did, his eyebrows were flawless—sharp, clean, and perfectly shaped.

“Wow,” he said softly, his lips curving into a small smile. “Thanks, Sunoo. You’re really good at this.”

“Of course I am,” Sunoo said with a smug grin, grabbing his glass of water and heading toward the door. “Next time, just call me before you have a meltdown, okay?”

As Sunoo disappeared down the hallway, Sunghoon touched his eyebrows again, his smile lingering. “Next time, huh?” he murmured to himself, shaking his head with a laugh.
