The Weverse Live started with Sunoo sitting comfortably in the middle of the couch, dressed in a cozy sweater that made him look even more radiant under the soft lighting. Sunghoon was on his left, lounging back casually with his arm draped over the edge of the couch, while Ni-ki was on Sunoo’s right, sitting cross-legged and leaning toward the camera to read the comments.

“Hi, ENGENEs!” Sunoo greeted brightly, his voice carrying an unmistakable cheerfulness. He waved at the screen, his delicate hand movements catching everyone’s attention. “How are you all doing today? Did you eat well? You better have!”

The chat was already exploding, messages flying by so quickly that Sunoo squinted a little to try and read. He leaned closer, his soft brown eyes scanning the screen.

“Someone said, ‘Sunoo-oppa, you’re glowing today!’” Sunoo read aloud, his lips curling into a smile. “Thank you~ I think it’s just the lighting.” He playfully adjusted the invisible spotlight above him.

Ni-ki snorted. “Lighting or not, they’re not wrong. You’re definitely glowing, hyung.”

“Yah,” Sunghoon chimed in with a teasing smile, “don’t inflate his ego more than it already is.”

Sunoo gasped dramatically, turning to Sunghoon. “My ego isn’t big! I’m humble. Ask anyone.”

Sunghoon raised an eyebrow, clearly amused. “Sure, Sunoo. Whatever you say.”

The three continued chatting, occasionally picking comments from the fans to respond to. The room was filled with soft laughter and light banter as they debated random topics like favorite desserts and which member would survive longest on a deserted island.

Eventually, Ni-ki decided to bring up a topic that seemed to ignite an unexpected argument.

“Hyung,” Ni-ki began, his tone slightly accusing, “you really think strawberry milk is better than banana milk?”

“Of course,” Sunoo replied confidently, sitting up straighter. “It’s not even a competition. Strawberry milk is superior.”

Ni-ki’s jaw dropped slightly as he turned to face Sunoo fully. “What? That’s ridiculous! Banana milk is a classic. How can you not like it better?”

“I didn’t say I don’t like it,” Sunoo countered, raising his hands in defense. “I just think strawberry milk is better. It’s sweeter, and the flavor is more refreshing.”

Ni-ki shook his head firmly, crossing his arms. “You’re just wrong. Strawberry milk is too artificial.”

“Well, banana milk is too… boring,” Sunoo shot back, his tone light but stubborn.

Sunghoon, who had been observing the back-and-forth with a growing smile, suddenly burst into laughter, leaning back against the couch. “Are you two seriously arguing about milk flavors?”

“Yes!” both Sunoo and Ni-ki said in unison, turning toward Sunghoon briefly before returning to their debate.

At some point, Ni-ki made a particularly passionate point about banana milk being iconic, which prompted Sunoo to roll his eyes and lean back dramatically against the couch. That’s when Sunghoon made his move.

With a playful chuckle, Sunghoon leaned forward and wrapped his arms around Sunoo from behind, pulling him into a gentle back hug. His chin rested comfortably on Sunoo’s shoulder as he smirked at Ni-ki.

“I’m on Sunoo’s side,” Sunghoon said, his voice soft but teasing.

Sunoo blinked, momentarily caught off guard by the sudden hug, before breaking into a triumphant grin. “See? Sunghoon-hyung knows what he’s talking about.”

Ni-ki narrowed his eyes at Sunghoon before suddenly leaning over and wrapping his own arms around Sunoo from the other side, pulling him into a competing back hug. “Then I’m on Sunoo’s side too!”

Sunoo tilted his head, looking genuinely confused. “Wait… how does that work? You’re on opposing teams, and now you’re both on my side?”

Sunghoon laughed again, ruffling Sunoo’s hair fondly. “Doesn’t matter. You’re the main character here, Sunoo.”

Sunoo giggled at that, seemingly content with the answer, and turned back to the camera to read more comments. However, as he focused on the fans, Sunghoon subtly tightened his grip, pulling Sunoo a little closer to his side.

Ni-ki noticed immediately and glared at Sunghoon over Sunoo’s shoulder. Without letting go, Ni-ki leaned in further, as if to challenge Sunghoon’s claim over their hyung.

The fans, meanwhile, were completely aware of the growing tension between the two members. The chat was filled with comments like:

“(≧∇≦)/ Sunoo has no idea what’s going on.”

“This is just Sunghoon and Ni-ki fighting for Sunoo’s attention lol.”

“ヽ(*≧ω≦)ノ Sunoo is the real winner here.”

Oblivious to the silent battle unfolding around him, Sunoo pointed at the screen and exclaimed, “Oh! Someone asked what my favorite song right now is. Let me think…” He began humming softly, clearly lost in thought.

Meanwhile, Sunghoon and Ni-ki continued their quiet standoff, each refusing to let go of their hold on Sunoo. Sunghoon eventually leaned closer, his smile calm but mischievous. “You know, Sunoo, you’d look good in pink today. Strawberry milk vibes.”

Ni-ki scoffed, his grip tightening slightly. “Don’t listen to him, hyung. Yellow suits you better. Banana milk vibes.”

Sunoo turned his head slightly to glance between them, utterly clueless to the underlying tension. “You two are so weird sometimes,” he said, laughing softly.

Sunghoon just smiled, leaning back a little but keeping an arm loosely around Sunoo. Ni-ki, however, didn’t move, still holding onto Sunoo protectively.

By the end of the live, Sunoo was happily waving at the camera, thanking ENGENEs for watching. “Don’t fight over milk flavors, okay? Both are good!” he declared with a bright laugh.

As soon as the live ended, Sunghoon and Ni-ki both burst into laughter, finally breaking their silent rivalry. Sunoo looked at them in confusion, completely unaware of what had been happening the entire time. “What’s so funny?” he asked, tilting his head.

“Nothing,” Sunghoon replied, ruffling his hair again. “You’re just too cute, that’s all.”

Ni-ki rolled his eyes but smiled, muttering under his breath, “Yeah, way too cute…”
