Different stories for different chapters! The aim of this book is to show Enhypen's bond whether in fiction or in reality! (*psst! Sunoo is the main focus to show ppl his members adore him!) Some other groups may make an appearance!
Sunoo, sitting cross-legged in front of the mirror wall, didn’t look up right away. His phone was resting on his lap, still open on SNS where he’d been casually scrolling through fan edits—most of them were clips of him from their last performance, and every frame somehow made him look ethereal. His hair was perfectly soft and fluffy, skin glowing without even trying, and his oversized sweater pooled around his frame like a carefully curated cloud.
The door opened wider.
Nine silhouettes stepped in quietly—K, Nicholas, EJ, Taki, Yuma, Jo, Harua, Fuma, and Maki from &TEAM. They froze for a second at the sight of him—alone in the room, bathed in the natural lighting coming in from the tall window, like he was the opening scene of a drama.
Sunoo finally looked up, a slow smile spreading across his lips.
“Well, hello there.”
His voice was smooth, melodic—and the way he said it made it sound like the line had been dipped in honey. Not too high, not too sweet—just beautifully said, like only he could say it. Even the way he blinked as he said it seemed practiced, yet completely effortless.
Taki broke into a wide smile. “Sunoo!”
“Look at you,” Sunoo said, standing up with a light stretch. “Still adorable. You’ve grown though. Are you taller than me now?”
“No! No way!” Taki said, even though he kind of was.
The rest of &TEAM laughed, slowly approaching like they were all just walking into a dream from years ago. K gave a small wave, Harua bowed politely but shyly, and Maki lingered near the back, wide-eyed. Nicholas stepped forward and bumped fists with him.
“You look exactly the same,” Jo said.
“Don’t insult me,” Sunoo replied with a smirk. “I’ve obviously gotten prettier.”
And no one could disagree.
Just then, the door opened again.
“Sorry we’re—” Jungwon’s voice cut off as he stepped inside, Heeseung and Ni-ki close behind him. “Whoa. Oh? Reunion?”
“&TEAM!” Heeseung grinned, setting his water bottle down and striding over to hug K. “It’s been a minute.”
Nicholas turned around with a grin. “Heeseung-hyung. You haven’t changed either.”
“Is that a compliment?” Heeseung teased, before reaching to ruffle Harua’s hair. “You’ve gotten taller.”
“I think everyone’s gotten taller,” Ni-ki mumbled, half-laughing as he gave fist bumps around the room. “Even Taki. Not fair.”
“Ni-ki!” Taki lit up and hugged him tightly. “I missed you, seriously.”
“Aw, you two are still cute,” Sunoo commented, flopping back down onto the floor but keeping one eye trained on his reflection.
Another voice chimed in as Jake and Jay entered next, Jake’s voice filling the room. “You guys already started the party without us?”
“Not my fault you take eighty years to pick which hoodie to wear,” Jay said, rolling his eyes but patting Yuma’s back warmly. “Good to see you, man.”
“Jake-yah,” Fuma greeted, stepping forward with a friendly smile. “Still handsome.”
Jake laughed. “You guys really know how to make an entrance.”
“And Sunoo knows how to steal it,” Jay muttered, watching as Sunoo stood back up and twirled slightly, clearly listening in.
Jungwon shook his head with a soft smile, then turned to K. “I can’t believe we’re really doing this. Feels like we’re back in I-LAND.”
“It’s nostalgic,” K replied. “But better now. We’re doing it as artists, not trainees.”
“Still feels surreal though,” Harua whispered, eyes darting to Sunoo, who was now adjusting his sweater and talking to Maki. “Sunoo-hyung… really hasn’t changed.”
“He’s brighter, actually,” Maki said softly, hands shoved in his pockets. “He’s kind of… the same, but more.”
Jo nodded in agreement. “Like he knows now. How much he shines.”
On the other side of the room, Sunghoon had just slipped in quietly, only for Sunoo to call out without even turning around, “Hoonie! Took you long enough.”
“Caught me,” Sunghoon said, making his way over. He offered a fist bump to EJ, then leaned slightly toward Sunoo. “How’d you know it was me?”
“Your footsteps are heavy. Very himbo of you,” Sunoo replied sweetly.
“You’re mean today.”
“I’m perfect today,” he corrected.
Everyone laughed again.
As the room started to warm with the rhythm of catching up and stretching, Sunoo walked to the center.
“Alright,” he said, clapping once and smiling at all of them. “We’re here to rehearse. To work hard. To look incredible. But most importantly…” He paused for dramatic effect.
“…To remind the world that we’re icons.”
“That’s literally just you,” Nicholas said.
Sunoo shrugged. “Well. Someone’s gotta carry the aesthetic.”
And just like that, rehearsal began—with banter, old friendships rekindled, and one particularly beautiful boy at the center of it all, reminding everyone exactly why he was unforgettable.
