Different stories for different chapters! The aim of this book is to show Enhypen's bond whether in fiction or in reality! (*psst! Sunoo is the main focus to show ppl his members adore him!) Some other groups may make an appearance!
It was a bright morning when the ENHYPEN members gathered for breakfast before a busy day of rehearsals. Sunoo had been looking forward to trying a new dish from a popular café nearby. Ignoring the usual warnings from his members about being cautious with street food, he ordered a spicy rice cake platter. It was delicious, and he couldn't help but rave about it.
However, by midday, things took a turn. Sunoo began to feel a queasy sensation in his stomach, which quickly escalated to sharp pains. He tried to push through the rehearsal, but soon he could barely stand. Jungwon noticed Sunoo's pale complexion and immediately stopped the practice.
"Sunoo, are you okay?" Jungwon asked, concern etched on his face.
"I... I think I need to sit down," Sunoo managed, before the color drained from his face completely.
Before long, they were rushing him to the hospital. The staff, who were usually focused on logistics and stage setups, were suddenly on high alert. They contacted his family and kept the other members informed while Sunoo was whisked away for tests.
The news of Sunoo's food poisoning hit everyone hard. He was admitted for observation, and the other members took turns visiting him. He lay in the hospital bed, looking small and vulnerable, the usual spark in his eyes dimmed by nausea.
"He's going to be okay, right?" Ni-ki asked, biting his lip anxiously as he fidgeted with the edge of his hoodie.
"Of course," Heeseung reassured him. "But we need to keep a close eye on what we eat from now on."
Days passed, and Sunoo began to recover, but the incident led to heightened vigilance. Staff meetings turned into lengthy discussions about food safety, and a strict inspection process was put in place for any meals the group would consume. Each meal had to be verified by the team before it reached their table.
Jungwon made it a point to personally oversee the food orders. "We can't let this happen again," he insisted, eyes serious. The rest of the members nodded, agreeing to his newfound diligence.
On a sunny afternoon, after Sunoo had been discharged, the members decided to celebrate his return with a picnic. They set up a blanket in the park, and Jay took charge of the food. He carefully selected dishes, double-checking every ingredient.
As they settled down, Sunoo looked around, his heart warmed by the sight of his friends. "I appreciate all this, guys. But you know I'm going to be more careful now," he chuckled weakly.
"Still, we have to make sure," Sunghoon said, handing Sunoo a bottle of water. "We don't want another hospital visit, okay?"
The members laughed lightly, their worries lifting. They spent the afternoon sharing stories and enjoying their meal, grateful to have Sunoo back, healthy and safe.
From that day on, food safety became a running joke among them. "Inspect it before you eat it!" they would tease each other, and Sunoo couldn't help but laugh along, feeling lucky to be surrounded by such caring friends.
As they finished the picnic, Sunoo looked at his members, realizing how deeply they cared for him. "I'm your best friend of four years," he said, smiling brightly. "And I promise to always check what I eat from now on."
With the sun setting behind them, the bond among the members felt stronger than ever, proving that even the toughest moments could lead to deeper connections.
