Different stories for different chapters! The aim of this book is to show Enhypen's bond whether in fiction or in reality! (*psst! Sunoo is the main focus to show ppl his members adore him!) Some other groups may make an appearance!
It was past midnight, and the dorm was cloaked in silence. The rest of the members had long retired to their rooms, the soft hum of the heater the only sound filling the space. But Sunoo was wide awake, sprawled on his bed with a gnawing feeling in his stomach that wouldn’t let him sleep.
He sighed, staring at the ceiling. He wasn’t just hungry—he was craving. Something warm, something comforting, something that would wrap him up like a cozy blanket from the inside out.
Sitting up, Sunoo rubbed his eyes and glanced at the clock on his phone. It read 12:43 a.m. Definitely late enough for the rest of the dorm to scold him if they caught him wandering around. But his craving was too strong to ignore.
Sliding his feet into his slippers, Sunoo tiptoed out of his room, careful not to wake anyone. As he made his way to the kitchen, the faint glow of the stove light illuminated the counters. He hesitated, unsure of what to do. He wasn’t the best cook, and the last time he’d tried making instant noodles, the pot had boiled over, nearly causing a kitchen disaster.
As he stood there, staring at the pantry like it would magically offer a solution, a voice broke through the quiet.
“Sunoo? What are you doing up?”
Sunoo jumped, spinning around to see Jay leaning against the doorway, his hair messy from sleep. He wore a loose hoodie and sweatpants, and his brows furrowed slightly in confusion.
“I, uh…” Sunoo scratched the back of his neck, caught red-handed. “I was craving something. I couldn’t sleep.”
Jay stepped into the kitchen, his sharp eyes softening. “At this hour? What are you craving?”
Sunoo pouted, leaning against the counter. “I don’t know. Something warm. Like ramen or pancakes or… something good.”
Jay chuckled, shaking his head. “You’re unbelievable. Couldn’t you wait until morning?”
“Nope,” Sunoo replied, his pout deepening. “I’d just keep thinking about it. You know how I get when I want something.”
Jay sighed but couldn’t suppress the fond smile creeping onto his face. “Alright, sit down. I’ll make you something.”
Sunoo’s eyes lit up. “Really? You’d do that?”
“You’re lucky I like you,” Jay teased, opening the fridge and pulling out ingredients.
Sunoo grinned, hopping onto a stool by the counter. “No, I’m lucky because you’re the best cook in the dorm.”
Jay smirked, setting a pot of water to boil. “Flattery won’t get you extra toppings.”
Over the next twenty minutes, Sunoo watched as Jay worked his magic. The sizzling of the pan and the aroma of spices filled the air, making Sunoo’s mouth water. Jay moved with practiced ease, chopping vegetables and stirring the broth like he’d done it a hundred times before.
Sunoo rested his chin on his hands, watching him with admiration. “You’re like a kitchen superhero, you know that?”
Jay raised an eyebrow, glancing over his shoulder. “A superhero, huh? I should get a cape.”
“Maybe an apron,” Sunoo joked, giggling.
Finally, Jay set a steaming bowl of ramen in front of Sunoo, garnished with soft-boiled eggs and a sprinkle of green onions. The younger’s eyes widened as he took in the sight, his stomach growling in approval.
“This looks amazing!” Sunoo exclaimed, grabbing his chopsticks. He took a bite and let out a satisfied hum, his face lighting up with pure bliss. “Jay hyung, this is perfect.”
Jay leaned against the counter, arms crossed, watching Sunoo eat with a small smile. “Glad you like it.”
Sunoo paused, looking up at Jay with an earnest expression. “This is why you’re my favorite hyung, you know?”
Jay froze for a moment, surprised by the sudden declaration. Then he chuckled, shaking his head. “Don’t let the others hear you say that. They’d get jealous.”
“I’m serious!” Sunoo said between bites, his voice muffled by the noodles. “You’re always taking care of me. I’d probably starve if it weren’t for you.”
Jay rolled his eyes playfully, though his heart warmed at the words. “You’re too dramatic, but… thanks. I’ll take the compliment.”
When Sunoo finished, he leaned back with a content sigh, patting his stomach. “I feel so much better now. You’re a lifesaver, hyung.”
Jay ruffled Sunoo’s hair affectionately. “Alright, go to bed now. No more midnight cravings, okay?”
“Okay,” Sunoo replied with a mischievous grin that said otherwise.
As Sunoo padded back to his room, Jay cleaned up the kitchen, shaking his head with a soft chuckle. No matter how much trouble Sunoo could be, he couldn’t help but spoil him. After all, who could resist that smile?
