"I brought Pie from the Grill" Dela said as she held out the baked goods as Damon opened the door to the Boarding house.
"Is that your apology for breaking my neck?" Damon asked as he narrowed his eyes on Elijah.
She snorted "No, I'm not apologizing for that, you healed. Now are you going to let us in so we can have this discussion like civilized adults or would you prefer to solve your problems through violence? I will give you a fair warning you will lose if it comes to that" Dela said, not letting her brother misconstrued this meeting.
"I don't know, we handled ourselves fine last time" Damon said mockingly, looking towards Elijah pointedly.
Dela sighed and put a hand against Elijah's chest as he narrowed his eyes "I restrained myself as I know who you are to my dear Dela, do not misconstrue that kindness for weakness. If she says the word I will level this entire town and not feel an ounce of guilt" he said calmly, not needing petty shows of dominance to feel powerful, he knew he could make true on his threats.
"It's fine honey, Damon hasn't tested my patience that far yet. That may change if he does something stupid however" Dela said, her eyes turning to her brother pointedly.
Damon looked between them cautiously but was stopped from saying anything by Stefan who looked much more refreshed, obviously having fed "We won't do anything stupid until tomorrow, I promise Genevieve" Stefan said pointedly, looking at Damon when he said her former name.
Damon scoffs making her raise a brow "Do you not believe it's me, Damon? I would have thought calling you brother would have tipped you off" She said, softening her tone slightly, trying to lighten the mood a bit. Her threat had already been leveled and wouldn't be forgotten.
Damon looked at her for a moment before letting out a sigh and motioning for them to enter.
She shared a look with Elijah before they began their way into the Boarding house while giving Stefan a thankful smile.
When she walked into the sitting room she saw Bonnie and Jeremy sitting awkwardly with Alaric who was nursing a bourbon.
She put down the pie just in time for Care to come around a corner "Elly! You're here!" She said before pulling Elinor into a hug.
Dela grinned, Care was by far one of her better sisters she's had. The two hugged for a moment before Care pulled away "I was so worried about you! Damon's been losing his mind and then Stefan showed up and said you got him out of the Tomb. Are you alright?" Care asked, her voice going a mile a minute.
Dela laughed lightly "I'm perfect Care, I couldn't be happier" She said, turning to Elijah with a grin, he smirked lightly back at her, not willing to relax around so many possible enemies.
Caroline stuttered when she realized who Elijah was making Dela look at her fondly "Caroline this is Elijah, Elijah this is my sister Caroline" she said introducing them, she wanted them to get along.
Elijah gave Caroline a charming grin "It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Caroline. Anyone important to Dela is important to me" He said as he gave her a respectful nod in greeting.
Caroline seemed to get flustered "Nice to meet you too, Elijah" she said, looking between Elinor and Elijah.
"Let me take your coats" She offered, wanting to get out of the awkwardness. Caroline watched as Elijah and Elinor moved like a married couple with practiced memorized movements. She shared a look with Stefan before taking the coats to one of the bedrooms upstairs.

Once everyone had settled to eat Damon got the conversation "Not that I don't enjoy a good dinner party but we all gathered here for a reason" he said as he tapped on his wine glass impatiently and looked over to Elijah and Elinor. He couldn't believe the woman in front of him was his sister, he refused to.
