"You just had to trigger the Lockwood boy, didn't you?" Dela asked Katherine as she leaned against the kitchen island and read the many texts coming in from Care.

"Klaus needs a werewolf for the ritual" Katherine snapped back, still upset about the stabbing thing from the day before, Dela thought she should get over it given the things she's done to people.

"Yes, and you couldn't find an existing werewolf?" Dela asked sarcastically, glancing up at the brunette who was flicking through the hotel TV.

Katherine turned to glare at her "I had one then Damon ripped his heart out. I went through all the trouble of triggering his curse and getting him to fall in love with me for nothing" she said, still annoyed about it.

Dela huffed "Damon likes to be a wrench in other people's plans. I just know he's going to do something stupid to save Elena even though she doesn't need saving" she said, hitting her phone against her hand lightly as she thought about what she wanted to do.

According to Caroline a woman had come to town looking for Mason, the likelihood she was a werewolf was high given the full moon tonight and how quickly she showed up. She also knew Damon's track record with werewolves and how stupid he could be.

Dela let out a sigh as she grabbed her keys and purse "You stay here, don't open the door for anyone, and if the thought of trying to escape or work against me and Elijah even comes to your mind I want you to stab yourself with that knife from yesterday five times" She said casually as she walked out of the Hotel room, ignoring the scowling doppelganger she was leaving behind.

"Could you at least bring back some half decent food?" Kathrine yelled at Dela's retreating form.

"How did I know I would find you two here" Dela said as she found Alaric and Damon plotting in the grill.

"Only place in town to get a decent drink" Alaric said awkwardly, looking between her and Damon.

Dela laughed lightly before spotting the wolfsbane and snatching it out of Ric's hand "Wolfsbane huh? Who are you trying to dose?" She asked curiously, her eyes scanning the building before Damon plucked the wolfsbane back out of her hand.

Damon scowled at her "That's none of your business" he said, making it clear he wanted her to leave.

She pursed her lips "Well seeing as Werewolves have amazing senses of smell, especially near a full moon, I think it's in your best interest not to use that. If there's really a wolf here they already clocked you, but they won't clock me and I can find out what they are with a single handshake" Dela said, making it clear their plan was stupid and she had a better one.

Damon shook his head but Alaric put a hand on his shoulder "Maybe we should let her, you know what the legends says about a werewolf bite killing a vampire" he said pointedly.

Damon went to argue but she glared at him "I've seen more than a few vampires die of the bite Damon, it's not a myth. Any other night of the year and you would have the advantage but not tonight" she said pointedly, not wanting him to get himself killed.

He looked at her stubbornly for a minute making her huff before turning to Alaric who pointed towards a blonde sitting at the bar.

"Thank you for having some common sense Alaric" Dela said with a grin before going to make her way towards the bar.

Damon grabbed her arm but she raised an eyebrow "You know how this ends brother, I'm no longer a duckling but a swan and you have to let me fly" She said lowly, her own light blue eyes meeting his.

Emotions passed over Damon's face quicker than she could process before he let her arm go and took a step back, motioning to the bar.

Dela gave him a small smile, happy to see the improvement before the straightened her shoulders and walked over to the bar.
