"So that's it huh? You choose them?" Damon asked, his voice cold as he glared at who used to be his little sister.

Dela raised a brow "Damon I don't want to choose anyone, we can all get alonge. Niklause will listen to me and not sacrifice Elena. There is no reason for there to be a fight...but if there is one. If you choose to act irrationally and work against my family I will choose them every time" she said plainly, knowing she was testing him.

Damon narrowed his eyes challengingly "Then I don't feel bad for this" He said before speeding towards Elijah.

She didn't flinch as Elijah grabbed him by the neck and plucked the dagger from his hand as Damon struggled "That was idiotic, and suicidal as it stands" Elijah drawled casually as he kept his eyes on Stefan.

Stefan looked ready to jump over the table to get to his brother while everyone else at the table was frozen, not knowing what to do.

Dela glared at Stefan as she stood up "Don't even try it Stefan" She said through gritted teeth as she walked over to Elijah and plucked the dagger from his hands.

"So I see you got in touch with John Gilbert, you should have saved your one weapon Damon. Though had you used it you would have died, only humans and originals can use the dagger without paying with their life" She said mockingly as she siphoned the spell on the dagger.

"Put him down, Honey" She said to Elijah as she took the last bit of magic from the dagger.

She handed the Dagger back to him "Here you go, it's as useful as a decorative toy now" She said sweetly but her eyes were cold. She had known one of them would do something stupid, it was just a question of who.

"One more attempt like that and we will leave you to deal with my brother on your own" Elijah said casually as he pulled out Elinor's chair for her before taking his own seat, ever the gentleman.

"No, he's sorry, it won't happen again" Stefan pleaded while Damon rolled his eyes and moved to retake his seat.

Stefan looked at Dela pleadingly making her sigh and nod, she wasn't going to let Nik kill them all just because Damon was a hot headed idiot.

"Honestly Damon you used to be the more level headed brother, I would think you would be happy. Elena gets to keep her life, you get your sister back from the dead, and you're connected to the most powerful family in the world. You should really stop complaining so much" Dela said, purposely poking at Damon in a more light hearted way.

Damon went to say something but Stefan kicked his leg and glared at him and Elena gave him a pleading look so he just smiled too nicely before crossing his arms and sinking into his chair.

"If you promise to protect my family and the people I care about from Klaus I'll agree to do whatever you need...that doesn't include giving my life" Elena said after receiving very pointed looks from everyone at the table when she hadn't mentioned herself.

Dela nodded "Done, hopefully we won't need anything from you besides to try and not get yourself killed" She said pointedly, she hadn't forgotten how she had gotten her memories back.

"Once we contact Klaus I will attempt to Siphon the curse from him just like I did for the tomb and dagger in which case you get off scot free. If for some reason siphoning the curse doesn't work then the ritual will need to take place but I know more than a few witchy workarounds for you to keep your life, and if it comes to that I will be more than happy to let Bonnie look over any spell first" Dela told them all, knowing she would need to be clear to stop any of them from doing something completely stupid.

"No offense but you aren't exactly the best witch I've seen" Damon said sarcastically, still very much against this.

She rolled her eyes "Maybe a few days ago when all I had to go off of was a single grimoire and an aunt who no longer practices. I've been a witch in three lives before this one, I know spells that would make even you run and cower" Dela said, letting them hear the truth in her words.
