Later that day, training was in session, and Daniel, Miguel, and Julia were training together, and Johnny was jealous that his former rival was bonding with not only his star pupil, but also his own daughter. However, he decided to take his mind off that by training the Miyagi-Do students.
"Attack!" Johnny ordered. He was holding sparring gloves, and Sam kicked one before punching the other one and punching the one she kicked first.
"That's it! Attack!" Johnny ordered, and Chris then send a kick, and a few punches to the sparring gloves. Johnny saw Daniel and Miguel practicing blocks on each other. It was now Demetri's turn, but he accidentally kicked Johnny in the face.
"Oh shit! Um, I'm gonna get in any trouble, am I?" Demetri asked.
Unfortunately for Demetri, Johnny tied him up on a punching-bag with a couch cushion strapped on his front.
"All right, remember, one of the best ways to get a point is to aim for the torso. All right, front kick, side kick. Ready?"
"Huh?" Demetri asked throw a muffled voice.
"Go!" Johnny ordered, and a student kicked the couch cushion twice.
"Very nice." Johnny complimented.
"Sorry." Sam apologized before kicking Demetri, who groaned.
"Nice kick, LaRusso! Remember, whip that foot through the target." Johnny complimented.
"Ready. Go!" Another student kicked the couch cushion, while Johnny noticed Daniel meditating with the Miyagi-Do students. "Let all your aggression disappear."
As time went on, he was getting jealous. After Evan and Izzy sent a kick to the couch cushion, it was now Chris's turn, though he accidentally kicked Demetri in the balls, making him groan.
"Oh! Oh shit. I missed. My bad, Meat." Chris apologized. "Very good. Suck it up. Tighten that core."
"Good day. You guys showed toughness. You sure you're okay?" Johnny asked Demetri, who answered, "Oh yeah. No, they're starting to turn back to their normal color."
"Diaz, Lil' Lawrence, you hungry?" Johnny asked Miguel and Julia. "I'll make your favorite. Spicy Manwich, side of steak fries."
"Sorry, Sensei. No can do." Julia told her dad.
"We're actually going with Mr. LaRusso." Miguel answered.
"We're finishing Ms. Diaz's car." Julia told Johnny.
"Oh, okay. No problem." Johnny accepted it. Miguel and Julia went to Daniel.
"Sensei." They called Daniel.
"Ready when you are." Julia confirmed.
