Chapter XXXXII: West Valley High Junior Prom

It was now the evening, and Junior Prom had started, which took place at a well-decorated ballroom venue, and music was being played, specifically Living In A Daydream by Matthew Goodman. The entire student body of West Valley High School was there in their formal prom outfits, with some of the girls wearing makeup, though Aurora dyed her hair purple, and Lucy dyed her hair turquoise, and the teens, including Miguel, Sam, Joey, and Katie were dancing like it was the time of their lives. A photographer had taken a picture of Kyler, Edwin, and a girl that was his prom date, along with Dieter, Piper, Matty, Lucy, Lonnie, Angelique, Neil, Madelaine, and few others. Moon was also dancing with a girl, and Alyssa, Aurora, Izzy, Clive, Daisy, and her boyfriend, Damien Harrington, were dancing with them. Eli and Demetri, along with the two honorary Binary Brothers, Evan and Charlie, were standing together. "Dude this sucks. Prom without a date is like Halloween with no candy. There's no point." Eli complained.

"I mean, at least we're not the only ones in for a boring night. I heard Logan Wang's after-party got canceled. His brother got in some middle school fight." Demetri, who was wearing a Pac-Man tuxedo, told Eli.

"That supposed to make us feel better? That everyone else's night is ruined?" Eli asked. "Yeah. It's literally the definition of "misery loves company."" Demetri said.

"Demetri." Yasmine, who was wearing a red dress said as she approached her boyfriend Demetri. "Oh, my... Jessica Rabbit! W-What are you doing here?" Demetri asked.

"I just flew in." Yasmine answered.

"What about your dad's wedding? Ain't it scheduled?" Evan asked.

"Oh, I'll get back in time. You're more important. I even flew economy plus, which is total shit. The seats don't even lie flat." Yasmine explained to Demetri.

"Wow. You really do like me, huh?" Demetri asked.

"Oh, you have no idea." Yasmine said flirtatiously before she and Demetri started making out.

"Come on, let's go dance." Yasmine said.

"Yes, my queen. I-I gotta, you know. Woo! Let's go!" Demetri and Yasmine went to dance, though he felt bad for Eli. When Moon, as well as Alyssa and Aurora, saw their boyfriends Evan and Charlie, they were excited. "Hi! I can't believe you're here!" Moon gushed as she, along with Alyssa, Evan, Aurora, and Charlie started dancing.

Meanwhile, Sam, Miguel, Joey, and Katie were now at the refreshments table, pouring themselves punch, and the song playing was now Ignite by Nine One One. "High heels?" Miguel asked Sam, who answered, "No, no. It's the flying tornado kick Johnny had me practicing. Don't understand how I'm gonna use it."

"I thought we said no karate talk?" Miguel asked. "Right, right. Tonight is just about us." Sam realized. "Cheers." Joey and Miguel said as they clinked glasses with Katie and Sam. Suddenly, Robby, who was wearing a tuxedo with an undershirt and pants, showed up with his girlfriend Tory, who was wearing a cheetah print dress. "Oh my god." Sam said with contempt as she saw the couple. "Look at that!" Lonnie told his girlfriend Angelique with excitement as they noticed the couple. "Hey Mad, are you seeing what I'm seeing?" Neil asked his girlfriend Madelaine excitedly as they noticed the couple two.

Meanwhile, Johnny, Julia, and Clara entered the Cobra Kai dojo through the back door by using a crowbar and were now in a room full of exercise equipment.

"You think changing the lock's gonna stop me? Come out, you sons of bitches!" Johnny said with determination. He wasn't going down without a fight. Suddenly, the phone in the back office of the dojo rang and Johnny picked up. "Hello?"

"Mr. Lawrence. Breaking and entering, are we?" Silver asked through the phone. He was with Ellie and Candy.

"I don't know what your deal is, but you keep your cars and your cash away from my son." Johnny sternly said. Even though Johnny wasn't scared of Silver, the man was unfazed. "Prom is a special night. Did you even know he was going?" Silver asked.
