Chapter XXV: Cobra Kai's Revenge

"There are three things that make a champion. The Three D's: desire, devotion, and discipline. First two, I can't give you. The last one I can, but you have to be willing to receive it." Silver explained while the Cobra Kai students practiced their kicks. "Are you?" Silver asked.

"Yes, Sensei!" The students answered.

"All right, Junbi stance." The students went into a Junbi stance. Silver started giving the students all small speech. "Now, I understand you wanna defeat your enemies. And you will, when it matters. Until then, just stay focused on your training. Is that understood?" Silver asked.

"Yes, Sensei!" The students answered.

"With conviction." Silver reminded them.

"Yes, Sensei!" The students answered again.

"Good. Arms out. Attention. Chae-ryut. Kyun-Nae." Silver and the students bowed to each other. "Dismissed."

"I think you and I need to have a little chat." Kreese told Silver.

After class ended, the Park brothers, Robby Keene, the Nichols sisters, the Payne siblings, the Jimenez sisters, the Kreese Brothers, Ellie, and Lonnie stayed in the dojo. "Second sensei's working us hard today. Guy's going beast mode! Sucks we can't give a beat down before the tournament." Kyler complained. He and the Cobras still wanted revenge, even though Silver was adamant on saving the fighting for the tournament. "Just because we can't fight doesn't mean we can't get payback." Robby reminded everyone, and Tory smirked in satisfaction in this. "So what do you have in mind?" Tory asked. "Here's what we're gonna do." Steve said. "We're gonna take over the tattoo shop, lure Hawk into it and give him a makeover." Emma explained.

At school, during lunch, Julia saw Emma, Steve, Kenny, Candy, Glenn, and Ellie sitting at a table. She felt bad for being an accomplice of the sprinkler prank, and decided to apologize, but she wasn't met with a warm-welcome. "Save it, Lawrence. You ain't welcome to sit with me no more, especially after that sprinkler prank you Miyagi-Fangs pulled on us a few nights before." Emma scoffed.

"Look, I'm sorry, it wasn't my decision." Julia apologized.

"Yes, because it was totally out of your control to ruin my makeup. Y'know how much time I spent putting it on?" Candy scoffed.

"But maybe we could forgive you, on one condition." Emma said.

"Meet us at the tattoo shop after school. And don't be late." Steve told Julia.

"Wait, you're not mad anymore?" Julia asked.

"We still are, but we forgive you. Everyone deserves a second chance after all." Emma assured her.

With that, Julia walked to another table that had Anthony, Lia, Bradon, Clara, Jesse, Archie, Amy, Anna, Ethan, and Chelsea and sat with them.

"What's going on?" Lia asked.

"Don't worry about it, it was just some prank we pulled on Cobra Kai a few nights before." Amy explained.

"You were there with us when it happened, remember?" Archie reminded Lia.

"What's Cobra Kai?" Lia asked.

"It's this dojo I used to be a part of, but I left at the beginning of the school year. It's run by John Kreese and Terry Silver, the cruelest, vilest, most wretched, vicious, and unhinged senseis in the Valley." Julia answered.

Later, Johnny practicing for his match with Daniel, remembering Miyagi-Do techniques, when he saw Miguel and Katie get home from school. "Oh, hey. Good timing. Think I've got a counter to LaRusso's bread-and-butter. Watch this. I make like I'm gonna walk into it again. At the last second, I slip under, shoulder check him in the balls, take him to the mat, elbow, elbow, elbow. Point. Lawrence, winner." Johnny explained.

"Got ya." Miguel said.

"All right. Here, you be him so I can try this at game speed. Gonna help me win or what?" Johnny asked Miguel.

"Honestly, I wish you weren't fighting at all." Katie said.

"Yeah. Well, too bad, 'cause it's go time. You'll thank me when we're done with the kata crap and I can prepare you for an actual fight." Johnny countered.

"So if you win, we train Eagle Fang. There's no Miyagi-Do?" Miguel asked.

"You got it, Pontiac." Johnny answered.

"But what if we... don't want to stop learning Miyagi-Do?" Katie asked.

"What the hell are you saying? You want him to win?" Johnny asked.

"No. I... Well, I guess the way I see it, no matter who wins, nobody wins." Miguel answered.

"Somebody always wins. That's how fights work. All right? No matter what ancient philosophical bullshit LaRusso's been feeding you."

Miguel scoffed, "Okay, Sensei. Well, good luck."

Meanwhile Julia and Hawk were at the tattoo shop. Hawk was texting his ex-girlfriend Moon. "So Hawk, how are things with Moon?" Julia asked.

"Great, actually. We're now friends, but she and Piper broke up, so we might get back together." Hawk answered.

"Hey, Rico, you good?" Hawk asked.

"Tattoo shop's closed for the day." A voice was heard, though Julia knew it was Robby. Suddenly, Park brothers, Robby, the Nichols sisters, the Payne siblings, the Jimenez sisters, the Kreese brothers, Ellie, Lonnie, and a few other Cobras showed up.

"Robby? Tory? What's going on?" Julia asked.

"Hey. Where'd you think you're going?" Hawk, leaped from the tattoo table, dropping his phone in the process, and kicked it the Cobras, and Kyler stepped on his phone. Hawk tried to escape, but Kyler, Steve, and a few other Cobras caught him. Julia tried to fight Candy, Steve, Emma, and Kenny, but they eventually caught her too.

"You weren't that hard to find, you little bitch." Kyler said. At that point, Julia realized that Emma's forgiveness was too good be true.

"You assholes just ignoring the no-fighting rules?" Hawk asked.

"Oh, we're not here to fight." Robby said as he held a razor.

"Robby, Tory, why are you helping them?" Julia asked in disbelief.

"C'mon Emma, I was at lunch with you, and you said you forgave me!" Julia begged.

"You really thought my sister would forgive you?" Tory asked Julia a scoff.

"Don't worry about it, Lawrence, we ain't here for you. We're just gonna give Hawk a makeover, and you're gonna watch." Emma told Julia.
