20- Unforgivable

Clay feels like shit; he should get punished for what he did.

How could he hurt Rose?

He should've stopped when he bit her, but he wanted her dead. The soul bond wasn't strong enough to break the curse during the attack.

Clay remained relatively calm upon learning of Salome's kidnapping, confident in her ability to outsmart the abductors. However, when he received news of Tiara's abduction and the curse was triggered, a sense of panic overcame him as he completely lost control.

He went and confronted Drake, and things got out of control. Even his wolf couldn't regain control.

Clay is now locked up and waiting to hear news about Rose. And what's worse, his clan is getting attacked. There is a full-on war, and his stick inside this prison, unable to fight and protect his people.

The door opens. "There is war, and you can't be locked up." His father entered. "Go and defend your clan!"

Clay didn't hesitate and went on the attack.

He took his anger out on the intruders. He wasn't nice about it and didn't give them a chance to beg for forgiveness.

At some point, Clay was facing four hunters who kept shooting at him and tasering him. It's as if the curse kept him from feeling pain. Clay kept fighting.

As the bodies of the hunters surrounded him and men groaning in pain, he felt a sense of numbness. Clay's clan members looked at him with fear in their eyes. It pained him deeply to see his people cower in his presence; the last thing he wanted was for his kin to fear him.

Unable to stand their gazes, he growled and ran off to help the rest of his clan fight off the hunters. Clay will have to apologize later.

He was heading toward the nursery when two wolves and a wizard blocked him. Clay's curse flared to the maximum level, and he didn't give them a chance to attack.

The wizard was fast and placed a barrier; Clay bounced off it. He shook his head and attempted to break through it.

Clay growled. "Stop hiding behind your shield, you coward!"

"Now, I can't let you off so easily," the wizard grinned. "We don't want to fight; I can lift the curse if you allow me to take Rosie."

"No!"

"I haven't even told you why I want Rosie, and you're already yelling at me," the wizard laughed.

"I don't want to hear any of your excuses," he howled.

The wizard grinned. "I'll tell you anyways, you see Rosie is my daughter. I heard my pathetic wife got herself locked up. And now our daughter is alone in the care of that fucking woman. I won't allow my Rosie to become like Margaret."

Clay doesn't see the resemblance; there's no way this man is Rosie's father. The witch, yes, but not this man. Something is off. If he recalls correctly, Margaret once told him Rosie's father was a sorcerer, a wizard. Margaret even showed him a picture of him holding a five-year-old Rosie. She looked so cute in the picture.

Clay smirk. "You're not Rose's father. Who are you?"

A look of anger crosses the wizard's face.

Clay is correct; this man isn't Rose's father. Then who the hell is he?

"I didn't think that damn bitch would reveal the truth about Rosie," the wizard snarled. "Now I'll kill you and retrieve Rosie. She will become the new Great Witch!!!"

This guy is fucking crazy. Rosie isn't going to become anything but this clan, Luna. Clay needs to get rid of this wizard.

"I'll help you."
