"Shut up, Gibs," Lizzie hissed, "You're getting dumber by the day."

"Both of you stop it," Claire interjected, returning to her spot between the pair.

I had just arrived at Claire's house and was walking into an argument.

Typical Lizzie and Gerard.

Everyone was already seated in the living room so I casually took a seat on the floor next to Patrick.

We still had yet to tell anyone we were dating.

"Hi," I smiled at him.

"Hey," He grinned, putting an arm around my waist.

Everyone was too busy with their own conversations to notice the action, but it made my stomach flip.

He was so good at being comforting, it was everything.

I watched as Claire tried to stop Lizzie and Gerard from fighting before rolling her eyes and sighing. Her eyes then flipped to me, slowly lowering to the Patrick's hand that was resting on my hip.

"Wait," Claire spoke, "Are you and Patrick, together?"

Everyone immediately stopped talking and turned to look at us.

Then it erupted into chaos.

"I knew it," Hughie clapped, " I knew it."

"They look good together," Shannon smiled.

"This is gross," Lizzie scoffed, covering her eyes.

Claire glared at Lizzie before squealing, "This is amazing! I'm so happy."

"What the hell?" Gerard groaned, "What the hell!"

"When did this happen? How did this happen?" Claire blabbed, standing up to jump up and down.

"What the hell," Gerard repeated, his eyes rapidly moving from me to Patrick.

"We've only been dating a week," I informed them, trying to make the attention stop.

Gerard looked like he was on the verge of passing out and I didn't need anyone saying something to push him over the edge.

"Feely, you're seriously going out with my baby sister?" Gerard gaped.

I narrowed my eyes at my older brother.
The hypocrite was practically married to my best friend.

"Yeah," Patrick nodded.

"Jaysus!" Gibsie groaned, "This is a nightmare. Claire-bear hold me."

He then dropped his head onto her chest and pretended to sob.

"Get off of my baby sister," Hughie hissed, shaking his head at Gerard.

"See you're a hypocrite," I crossed my arms, "You're fawning over my best friend, but I can't over yours?"

"It's different," He whined, "I have to watch you two be in love."
