-♡︎Scarlett♡︎-

I had been standing in front of my mirror for the past hour trying to pick an outfit for my date with Patrick.

I had changed twelve times and hated each outfit more than the last. I needed Claire's insight, and her impeccable fashion advice but she was oblivious to the fact I was 'dating' Patrick.

Because if things went wrong between us, I didn't want to look like the idiot that fell for him.

Even though that was exactly what I was.

Deciding what I had on was good enough, I exhaled a frustrated breath as I shoved my feet into a pair of doc martin's.

Patrick was picking me up any minute and I didn't have time to change my outfit again.

"Scarlett, Patrick's at the door," My mam called from downstairs.

Thankfully, Gerard was at Johnny's, so he wasn't here to give his opinion on the matter.

"Coming," I shouted back, quickly swiping a layer on lipgloss on.

Racing downstairs my mam was stood in the kitchen.

"Have fun! Be safe," She smiled as I passed, "You are being safe right?"

"Oh my god! It's our first date," I groaned, quickly reaching the front door.

Pulling it open I was met with Patrick.

"Hey," He grinned.

"Hi," I blushed like an eejit.

I looked him up and down, mentally fangirling. He was dressed in jeans and a grey sweater with sneakers on his feet.

No wonder I folded so fast when he asked me out.

"Like what you see?" He smirked, obviously noticing my staring.

Closing the door behind me I muttered, "You're alright."

"Well, you're beautiful," He smiled, leading me to his car.

"Tell me more," I teased, as he opened the passenger door for me.

"Are you going to tease me the whole time?" He chuckled, making sure I was settled in the car before he closed the door and walked to the drivers side.

He opened his door and climbed in before doing up his seatbelt.

"Maybe not the whole time," I chuckled reaching for the aux cord so I could plug my phone in.

"Who said you're playing music," Patrick narrowed his eyes at me as he started the car.

"Me," I shrugged, "I'm the boss."

"Play something good," He laughed, now exiting my street.

"Obviously," I rolled my eyes.

I scrolled through my music before chuckled and playing 'Mean' by Taylor Swift. Reaching over to turn it up, I looked to Patrick and said, "This song really reminds me of you."
