"But, honestly, whatever, he's just one of the boys
I'll date for like a summer and I'll leave when I'm bored."

"No chance I waste my twenties on random men, not one of them is cooler than all my friends."

"Her boyfriends all left, she had that effect."

"Where the hell is Gibs?" Johnny exhaled a frustrated breath as he paced around his kitchen.

"He left our house a minute before me," I shrugged, "Hopefully everything's alright."

"I'm sure it is," Patrick gave me a crooked grin.

I shot him an eye roll.
I was no longer interested in talking to him, or even looking at him.

The eejit had decided to do a 'couples costume' with none other than Lizzie.

He was dressed as Gomez Addams and looked infuriatingly sexy. If he wasn't such a dumbass I might consider getting back together with him.

But all chances of that flew out the window the second Lizzie changed into her Morticia Addams costume. I nearly strangled the girl to death.

But, I managed to contain my anger.

Because I looked way hotter dressed as a vampire.

I mean I was wearing practically nothing but that was the whole point of halloween, and being the only one in the group with no partner, I had to outshine them all.

"You okay?" Patrick asked, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"Get out of my face," I hissed, shrugging his hand off me.

"Woah," His eyes widened, "What'd I do?"

"Look around," I scoffed, "You might just be the biggest eejit alive."

"Well, I already knew that," He chuckled, "Lay it on me, Gibson, what'd I do?"

"Figure it out yourself, then we can talk," I shot out, walking away from him and towards Shannon, who was dressed as Juliet in a long white dress with angel wings.

"What the hell, guys?" Shannon exclaimed just as I reached her.

Looking towards the door, I watched as Claire and Gerard both entered the kitchen.

Nearly three hours late.

"I am so sorry, chickie!" Claire sighed, dumping presents onto the table before couching in front of Sean, "Hi, Sean! Happy fourth birthday, handsome."

"You missed the clown," Sean stated.

"No, she didn't," Tadhg pointed out, "She brought him with her."

I snorted. Shannon's little brother was always making fun of Gerard, and I fucking loved it.

"She brought him with her," Gerard mimicked, "Less of the lip."
