Part 8 Chapter 45A The End of Annonrial Empire

Secret Secondary Command Center

"We are running out of time." The prime minister spoke.

Everyone in the room fell silent at that.

"Are there any enemy aircraft approaching this place?" asked Emperor Zaratosthra.

An officer rushed to the communications site and promptly summoned the observers and the operator of the magic detector, which was located more than 10 km away.

"Not for the time being, Your Majesty. Both the lookouts and the magic detector have not found any approaching enemy aircraft." The officer spoke.

"Good, should we relocate to the secondary command center near the south pole?" asked Emperor Zaratosthra.

"I think that's better. We can still control the country and its remaining military assets through the command train, and this command center can still operate. As long as we have a plan for the next 1 day left here, we can relocate and temporarily stay silent to avoid detection." A general said.

"Alright, start preparations to travel to the southernmost secondary command center we have." Emperor Zaratosthra said.

"Yes, Your Majesty." The general said, and he immediately went to meet his staff to prepare for the trip.

"What military assets do we still have?" asked Emperor Zaratosthra.

"A number of Crowne Pal's are still there, as they were not in port when the harbor was attacked. If I'm not mistaken, there are 2 or 3 of them. There are also still 3 Chimera Pal. We have withdrawn all advanced vehicles to the south pole. We have also ordered our remaining troops to move south." Hispastia Durum said.

"If my memory serves me correctly, we still possess four demonizers. We should use them to keep the enemy busy. Order the southernmost demonizer to be pulled further south to prevent the enemy from finding it. Make the other three ready for deployment," Emperor Zaratosthra said.

"According to reports, no domonizers were damaged or destroyed by the bombing. They are all located in a small city to prevent damage if the device goes out of control or problems arise. The enemy has never attacked small towns until now." The prime minister spoke.

"Hmm, do we dare to take the risk to activate these devices? The reaction from the enemy is terrible." Hispastia Durum said.
