Part 8 Chapter 41B The Rescue

La Mu was working in his study when suddenly there was a loud knock. Such a knock always signaled an emergency, and therefore La Mu immediately invited entry. Following that, one of La Mu's personal secretaries entered and immediately handed him a paper.

"Your Excellency, we have just received news from Esthirant's manacomm stating that there was a bomb attack on the motorcade of Governor Ira of the Myto Empire! The explosion was so powerful that her car was buried in the rubble of the building that collapsed due to the explosion," the secretary said.

La Mu immediately stood up and approached the secretary and snatched the paper he was carrying. After that, he immediately read it carefully.

"My god, they're using their starships! I understand that Governor Ira is the partner of Moff Trevat, but it came to this? That means the end of the era where the Myto Empire pretends to be a small country, all façade is gone." La Mu said.

The secretary did not comment on La Mu's words.

"What should we do now to deal with this? We can't stay silent on this. We know that only those who are hostile to the Myto Empire and are capable of attacking it are likely to do so. Only Gra Valkas or Annonrial Empire!" La Mu said to himself as he walked around in circles in his office.

His secretary could only look at the spinning La Mu without being able to give any thoughts or even a comment.

"The closest force to the Annonrial Empire is the HME force; our naval force is still a bit far away, we can't help there." La Mu said.

"But we have a large amount of naval assets near Gra Valkas, Your Highness," said the secretary.

La Mu didn't seem to notice the secretary's words.

"Is there any of our fleet still near Gra Valkas? Immediately turn the fleet close to Gra Valkas to return to Gra Valkas. Arrange for underway replenishment for them!" ordered the Mu Empire.

"Yes, Your Majesty. The two fleets are actually still quite close to Gra Valkas. Even the 'Tsunami' operation fleet is just about to depart from Lendam beach." said the secretary.

"Immediately order both of them to head toward the nearby Gra Valkas territory! Best possible speed!" said La Mu.

"Yes, Your Highness. May I ask why you gave this order?" asked the secretary.

"With the emergence of the Myto Empire's true power, no country in Elysia dares to stand against them. I am willing to bet that Gra Valkas will not remain silent and will do something stupid that will cause them to be destroyed by the Myto Empire," said La Mu.

"Then what is our role there?" asked the secretary.

"We will attack when the Gra Valkas are busy with the Myto Empire. At that time we are doing two things at once: helping Myto Empire to take control of Gra Valkas as soon as possible and also gaining territory from Gra Valkas so that we can place our forces to watch over Graa Valkas in the future. Simultaneously, we plan to exert pressure on Gra Valkas to surrender by creating a second front." La Mu said.
