Tell me if I won, if I did, what's my prize?
I just wanna play with you too
Even if they judge, - it, I'll do the time
I just wanna have some fun with you-
Got my mind on your body and your body on my mind
Got a taste for the cherry, I just need to take a bite
Take me down!~~~~

THE next morning arrived way too soon. I nuzzled deeper into the crook of JJ's neck, avoiding the stubborn sunbeams slipping through the window, trying to wake me. His soft sigh tickled my ear as I practically melted into his body, his arms instinctively tightening around me.
Days felt slower now, and I liked it that way. Laying in JJ's arms, listening to his steady heartbeat in the early hours, it felt like time had paused just for us.
But, like every good thing, it couldn't last forever.
I felt him shift, his lips peppering light kisses all over my face and neck, each one pulling me further from my dreams. Normally, I wouldn't mind waking up to his gorgeous face, but today, I was feeling too lazy to fully wake up.
Yesterday's guilt had finally eased a bit. I allowed myself to understand that it was okay to hate the person who killed my father. JJ's words echoed in my mind—just because I felt that way didn't make me a bad person. I was there for Sarah, and I hoped things wouldn't change too much between us.
I couldn't bear losing my soul sister.
"Babygirl, you gotta get up now," JJ murmured, his voice still thick with sleep, sending shivers down my spine.
"I don't wanna," I whined, burying my face even deeper into his neck.
His soft laughter vibrated through me, his scent—saltwater, weed, and the musky cologne he always wore—calming me. I let his heartbeat lull me back to sleep, but before I could drift off completely, I felt myself being lifted off the bed.
A loud squeal escaped my lips as I clung to JJ's shoulders. "JJ!" I gasped, blinking up at him in shock. He carried me effortlessly, one arm under my knees, the other wrapped securely around my waist, like I weighed nothing.
He just grinned down at me, walking towards the bathroom. "J, Put me down right now, or I'll—" I tried to sound stern, but my voice faltered.
"Or you'll what, princess?" JJ challenged, his smirk widening.
"I—I-uh..." I scrambled to come up with something, but nothing surfaced.
He snickered. "That's what I thought. You've got nothing, baby."
"Oh yeah?" I rolled my eyes, feigning a serious tone. "Or I won't kiss you." I shot back before I could stop myself.
JJ chuckled, clearly calling my bluff. "Sure, princess."
Placing me on the bathroom sink, he raised an eyebrow at me, still amused. I huffed, crossing my arms. "I mean it! I wanted to stay in bed and sleep in."
"You didn't really, Lils," he teased, stepping closer.
"I did!" I insisted, jumping down from the counter and patting his chest, annoyance evident in my smile.
Deciding to make the most of being dragged into the bathroom, I started peeling off my clothes.
I could feel JJ's gaze burning into my skin, his eyes tracing every inch of me as I stepped into the shower.
