Yeah, darlin', go make it happen

Take the world in a love embraceFire all of your guns at once and
Explode into space

-

Like a true nature's childWe were born, born to be wildWe can climb so high
I never wanna die

Born to be wild
Born to be wild

Get your motor runnin'
Head out on the highway
We're lookin' for adventure
And whatever comes our way

IF I had to process everything that's gone down in the past 24 hours, I'd be a certified lunatic by now. No joke. The mental gymnastics it would take to even start making sense of it all would probably land me in a padded room.

This time yesterday morning, life was pretty perfect—well, as perfect as it can be for a pogue. I woke up tangled in JJ's arms, the kind of blissful peace only he and his ridiculous morning hair could bring. Just pure golden happiness, no chaos.

Then there was the absolutely mind-blowing morning sex—because, you know, JJ and I don't do anything halfway. You'd think a day that started like that was setting up for rainbows, sunshine, and maybe even a winning lottery ticket. And I had every reason to believe the day would ride that high.

But nooooooo. The universe took one look at my joy and said, "Hold my freakin' beer."

Irony has a sick sense of humor, I gathered.

Yesterday turned into one long, chaotic, heart-pounding, gator-filled, life-threatening shitshow. Let's recap, shall we?

First, we found the Island Room, a cryptic breadcrumb trail to the treasure and thought, hey, maybe we're onto something. Then we trudged to Angel Oak, where Denmark left a clue hidden in a damn tree. That was the high point. Except it landed us in a gator-infested swamp. Fun times.

Next, JJ, Kie, and I went full heist-mode and stole Kie's dad's truck. Because why not add felony grand theft auto to the mix?

Then, as if on cue, Luke Maybank—JJ's personal demon in human form—decided to drop by the Chateau like a toxic party crasher. That little visit ended with JJ officially bidding him farewell and Luke running from the cops.
