Nayna pov

"You sure right? " Daeun kept insisting me.

I looked at her confidently and said, "I'm damn sure Daeun! See, it's raining heavily and your boyfriend is already waiting for you at the reception. Just don't make him wait too long for us. You go, I can manage by myself. "

"Seriously, sometimes I can't with your stubbornness. " She looked at me annoyingly, but I flashed a million dollar smile at her as I said in a confirmation, "don't get me wrong Daeun-ssi . I might feel so damn single with both of you. So bye! "

She let out a chuckle after struggling so hard to keep it hidden from me. "Damn you Nayna! "

I chuckled at her and said, "get off work already! "

She adjusted her sling back and said, "See you on Monday".

" Yeah, see you! "I replied.

Finally she left from our mini-conference Hall as I was left all alone. Seriously I wonder how Erin used to manage everything alone because the sudden load put on my shoulders seems too heavy for me to handle and the only thing that could get me out from this mess is a beautiful yet peaceful weekend. I know that tomorrow I'll be enjoying a lot with my friends and that's something I'm rooting for.

I quickly collected all the papers and arranged it neatly inside a clip file, made sure to copy the progress of work inside the pen drive before ejecting it out of the laptop and arranged the big desk neatly making sure that everything is in it's usual place, because I don't want to leave an impression that I'm untidy and unruly. Meanwhile I was busy with my things inside the room, that too all alone, I was startled by the sudden thunder. Even the brightly lit room felt dark when the flash of the lightening fell inside the room and the sudden downpour made it almost impossible for me to hear the sounds outside the door. I don't know how am I going to make it till my apartment because by now, Daeun would have left.

It's not like I'm putting the blame on her because she had been the only person waiting for me at the Hall after everyone left. She asked her boyfriend to pick her up since it was raining heavily and he arrived within 20 minutes and was waiting for her at the reception. She had been making him wait so that they can drop me at my apartment, but the amount of work I had today before leaving fucked things up as I had to ask her to leave because first, I don't want to be a burden for them. Second, I might feel a bit embarassed when I sit at the back of the car seeing the couple in front of me. Third, they might feel pressured in my presence.

But Daeun was smart enough to read my mind because of my transparency of thoughts as she made sure to convince me that I'm wrong. Okay, I might be wrong, but still I didn't feel good about it as I might encroach their privacy and it took me everything to shove her away with her boyfriend.

Today Noah had to leave early because he's got his personal stuffs to take care of. His father met with a small accident this evening so he had to rush to the hospital.

I thought of visiting his father after I get off from work but half an hour ago, he called me to say that everything's fine and his father is doing well except for the hairline fracture at his right forearm and he forbade me from coming to the hospital as he wanted me to be on the safe side that too on a rainy night.

After I was done with the works, I walked towards the door and looked back once again to make sure if I haven't left anything behind nor did I leave the place untidy. Once I felt positive about it, I twisted the knob and adjusted my sling purse on my right shoulder as I held the laptop and the files carefully in my arms and made my way towards my cubicle.

On the way, I couldn't see anyone, maybe not even the janitors because they might have left already. The only room that felt lively to me was Jungkook's cabin. So he's still in there and I think I should inform him about today's work and tomorrow's plan. I kept my sling purse at my cubicle and walked towards his cabin. On my way, I started thinking about the things Hanji told me.
