C H A P T E R : 26

Jungkook pov

Although the traffic during the rainy days are quite difficult to manage, I made it through as I controlled my anger that was building up due to the unnecessary honkings and remained calm unlike the biker Jungkook I used to be who literally cursed every driver for making the traffic so tangled.

The rain was torrential and the way it blocked the view was quite dangerous so I managed to drive slowly because someone else is also sitting beside me who's trying her level best to keep her eyes with her. I chuckled mentally seeing her so disturbed at something which I think is related to me. I offered her the ride because first, I wanted her to reach her apartment safely and taking a cab at this hour that too during a torrential weather is something I'm least interested about. Second, I needed to talk to her about tomorrow's plan and third, if possible I want to convey 'somethings' with her as she's the only person who can understand me.

Of course we had to run under the rain till where I parked the car and in that process, both of us got wet. We somehow managed to get inside the car but the coldness still wrapped us around. I brushed my wet hair back and looked over my shoulder to her direction to check if she was okay, but immediately, I had to look elsewhere because of the light pink dress she wore that caught my attention. Her shirt got wet and it stuck to her skin such that it became almost see-through. I gulped and looked straight because the moment she finds that I'm looking at her where I shouldn't be, then that's enough for her to be uncomfortable with me. I don't want that to happen at this point in our relationship especially when I hope I made a development.

I forwarded my handkerchief to her while looking only at her eyes which she accepted gladly. Even though I tried not to look at her but my curiosity got over me as I had the urge to witness how she makes herself comfortable. From my peripheral vision, I could see her wiping her face and neck with the cloth. She grabbed her hair and tied it into a loose bun and seriously I felt something twitching inside me.

Guess she's still not aware about her shirt!

I gulped hard and tried to be in control because things are getting quite hotter inside the car apart from the heater that I turned on few minutes ago.

Feeling so elated, more like a relief that it isn't just me who's trying to keep my eyes away from her vicinity, she's doing quite the same. I don't know what features in me got her attention because as far as I know I look quite normal, maybe a little bit wet from rain, whatever I'm enjoying it.

But as a man I was, I had a strong urge to kiss her lips which looked so inviting, the rain outside, the situation and condition we are in, is making things more steamier than I thought.

I bit my lips in tiny and started the engine because if I stay longer, either I might just grab her neck and kiss her or else I might end up asking permission if I can kiss her. Both ways aren't much pleasing to me because I'm not ready to rush things when we are already on a way to reach the final yet beautiful destination of our relationship.

It's been 20 minutes already and we haven't spoke a word till now. Only the sounds of our breathing could be heard. Maybe I should initiate the conversation regarding tomorrow's trip. I started,

"So about tomorrow, I'm planning to leave by 9.00 AM because it might take atleast one and half hour to reach the resort and the torrential weather is not cooperative either. It will be good if we start the journey as early as possible. " I said and she agreed to me while nodding her head as she replied, "sure Mr. Jeon, I'll be ready by 8.50 AM and will wait for you. "

I hummed in response because I couldn't digest the fact that she addressed me Mr. Jeon and I didn't had the nerve to stop her from calling me Mr. Jeon.
