C H A P T E R : 39

Two months later

Finally we marked one year of our togetherness. In this journey with her, we have been through many challenging paths and I want to give the entire credits to her because she has been with me throughout every thick and thin. We always started cranky but it always ended in a beautiful story.

Well, I have visited her parents once again and formally asked for their daughter's hand for marriage and I really thank my fate because they accepted to my proposal.

Things have been going so smooth and not gonna lie, we had few small arguments, in between which we solved within few minutes. Well, no one is really perfect in this world, but the sense of understanding and realization is the key for a good and healthy relationship. Ours was always a healthy one and it will be.

She has always been the one for me and it will be forever. She was my first ever true love because even though I was a player during my university years, she's the one who changed me for good, sculpted me into a good youth and of course my father too had a big role in it.
I'm quite lucky to get a life where I'm blessed with my super cool parents, a great and trustable circle of friends for life and a most beautiful and understanding partner.

Right now I'm looking at the love of my life who's enjoying with Hanji, Soojin and Daeun. We are back to our university for a reunion. Of course it's a vacation at the university and we were free from every chaos of the students in the university. Seriously things have changed quite a lot. As a person who always like to click pictures, I brought my camera with me today and clicked many pictures of Jimin, Taehyung, Haejoon and Jinwon.

We were being the true versions and I could feel our young lad phase resurfacing our grown up phase. We met our old teachers and I could definitely see a new set of teachers. We donated a gift to the university and walked along the corridors, visited our old class together and especially the detention room.

Well, the detention room is a classroom now and we couldn't help but laugh remembering how we used to spend the detention in a cool way.

Definitely apart from this memory, I do have a special memory that I made with Nayna. Of course that day she was too mad at me because that was her first ever detention but the way we spent the moments which turned sensual got me goosebumps.

Even though Daeun respected me throughout the day, I heard her talking about me informally to Nayna, but whatever I'll let it slide because Daeun really made Nayna at ease at the company.

Walking through the corridors, hand in hand with her, I explored every places where we used to spend our time all alone. In those 4 years, we made lots of memories at the library, at the indoor basketball court, in our art room and at the pool.

Every corner of the university gave off the old vibes that we enjoyed being in the silence and memories. I clasped her hands in mine as we walked along recollecting every memories we made. That's when she pointed to a particular tree beneath which there was a bench.

"You remember me sitting over there after the detention and you came with a boba tea because I didn't had my lunch. "

I chuckled remembering it because we weren't in good terms at that time but I always cared for her and liked her even though I never expressed it in my words.

I said, "how I used to make you mad... I really miss those days. Well, about that day when Taehyung said that you didn't had lunch, I felt kinda guilty for my activities and harsh words which weren't intentional at all. That's why I bought you one. "

She made a face and said, "but your attitude was on another level that day and truly speaking, I was reading a book of poems by William Shakespeare and there I read a line which said, 'The course of true love never had a smooth run'. Well, I wondered how it can be true and was in a deep thought thinking maturely how it is practical in real life and that's when you appeared with the tea. Well, now I understood his words and it's true, the course of true love never had a smooth run. Really the coincidence is getting me."
