C H A P T E R : 37

Jungkook pov

It's been 15 minutes that I was waiting for her with my parents. Of course they are aware that I have a woman in my life from the talks and I must appreciate the fact that they are waiting for Nayna patiently with me. Few minutes ago, I saw her message that she'll arrive soon apart from the one she sent earlier and some thoughts started creeping into my mind which has the potential to scare me. That's when as a relief I saw Nayna's phone call.

I picked up the call in front of my parents and asked, "hey? "

"I'm at the reception and I need you 'cause I'm nervous".

I couldn't help but chuckle and that caught my parent's attention. My father smiled and asked me, " What's the matter kook? "

I tucked the phone inside my pocket and said, "it's her and she says she's quite nervous! Let me go and get her. "

My mother exclaimed, "she's cute though! "

I don't know but that made me so proud at my lady. I know that she can be cute, matured, sometimes crackhead and sexy.
I walked out from the hall towards the reception and my heart stopped beating as I felt the time went slow when I saw her.

The moment my eyes caught her, my breathing stopped, I forgot to blink as I stared at her beauty. The black dress that hugged her figure and made her look stunning, her makeup highlighting her beautiful features and a part of her long hair that were at the front added extra to her beauty. I felt so weak from my knees that I wanted to ask what she's trying to do with me. I mean is she even aware of how she is making me feel things right now?

I slowly walked towards her catching her attention as she smiled awkwardly at me. She almost ran to me and held my wrist as she said, "I don't know why I signed up for this but I feel like I must back out 'cause I'm hella nervous right now. I mean what if—"

"I hate what if's from you because the Nayna I know is quite different, more like confident. " She bit her matte coloured lips and looked at me worried. I held her wrist and said, "you look stunning baby! God I'm swooning over your beauty right now. "

She giggled and said, "thank you for the compliment but trust me you look dashing in black. I knew that you would wear black tonight and I'm thankful to my wardrobe that I had this black dress with me. We definitely look like great and lovely couple right? "

Finally I felt that she's at ease now that I found her getting back to her real self. I badly want to kiss her, but I gulped the urge and walked ahead with her. On the way, when I saw that we are alone on the lobby, I placed a quick peck on her cheeks as I heard her whisper-yelling, "Jungkook... "

I chuckled and opened the glass door of the hall where we were sitting on our reserved table. At a distance I saw my parents talking to each other. I looked at Nayna to check on her and she seemed quite normal, but the way her palms sweat made me realize that she's having an inner struggle. I lean towards her ears as I said, "they are not gonna eat you".

" Eating me would have been better than the meeting", she said to which I smirked and whispered, "well, only I'm allowed to do that".

She looked at me confusedly but soon her eyes widened as she hit my biceps slightly and was about to scold me for my kinkiness, but I just shoved her towards my parents.

Seeing us together, my parents smiled and stood up from the chair to welcome her and that was my cue to predict that today will be another great day for me.
She greeted my parents and bowed to them respectfully and forwarded a package with both of her hands as my parents accepted her gift happily. We sat opposite to my parents as I could see Nayna wiping her sweat off with the tissue with a subtle smile of nervousness. I looked at my mother and she was eyeing Nayna as if she's trying to figure out who this familiar lady is. I was about to introduce her and that's when the Waiter came to us to take the orders. We looked at the menu and I could see Nayna getting anxious sitting next to me as she adjusted her dress underneath with trembling hands. I mean that should be me with her parents when I met them, but seems like the roles were exchanged.
