Nayna pov

"Hey Nayna you've got to see this", Daeun said and within a minute or two I found my inbox with a mail. It's of the advertising company saying that they accepted our request to work with them. Since I'm the project Director, it's my responsibility to check if all the other wings are doing their works properly.

We are almost at the end of the project with Ms. Cathy and before marketing, we have to set the advertising. I read the mail and forwarded the same to the head of the advertising department. I attached Jungkook's official Email ID along with the CC in the mail because he has been away from the company for 2 days as part of visiting the plot of land in Ilsan that he's about to buy. I'm happy that he's able to elaborate the company by setting various branches across the country.

Even though it's hard to work in his absence but the busy work helped me to cope up with it. Today I had tons on my shoulders and indeed I need a strong black coffee to calm my tired body and mind. I sat with a thud on the chair and looked tiredly at Daeun who giggled sarcastically at my condition. Well, I can't blame her though because it's just me and my daily work tiring me.
I stood up from my chair and that's when Daeun asked, "coffee? "

"Yup", I said while emphasising the last popping sound of p.

" I'll also come with you", she stood up from her seat holding her lower stomach as she made a hissing sound.

I can easily understand that she's on her period and that's why she is silent as mood swings hit hard. We walked to the coffee counter and placed the cup beneath the coffee machine.
She looks tired though, as if life has been sucked out from her.

"Have you been eating something lately because you look so pale", I said and she simply smiled at me as she removed the cup beneath the machine and kept mine and said, "well, I have been having heavy bleeding plus the pain, god it's unbearable. "

I patted her back as she continued, "you know, getting back to him after our so-called break up is something that still keeps me on because he had been with me, taking care of my needs and cravings since 2 days and i feel quite emotional and happy. "

"That's really great, I mean boyfriends are really cool provided that you get a perfect man", I commented and we giggled because indeed we had been lucky in getting the best partner.

That's when we heard the sudden hushes and rumblings of the employees and the furnitures here and there. We looked at each other doubtfully and proceeded to the door as we asked Mrs. Choi who was on her way to — wait Jungkook's cabin?

"Mrs. Choi, what's with the sudden ruckus? ", I asked to which she replied, " Mr. Jeon's back from Ilsan."

Indeed I was happy that he's back but it made me laugh at the way Daeun's eyes bulged out just like the other employees that she was about to rush towards her cubicle. But i held her wrist and grabbed my coffee as we made our way to the cubicle to set everything neat and be ready for submitting our works because he might ask us anytime or else can hold a meeting soon. On the way she said, "Hitler's back again and the battlefield's ready—"
"—Oops.. I didn't mean to offend you.. I'm sorry", I couldn't help but laugh at the way she gave names to him forgetting the fact that I'm his girlfriend. For a minute or two, she was completely taken aback and couldn't move as she stay rooted to the ground which literally made me laugh out more.

I said, "of course when it comes to work, I can't even recognize that he's my beloved boyfriend and that's fine for now. "

"For now? " She questioned me, which hyped me up to tease her as I said, "of course, he's my boyfriend.. So I can't really stand it when someone's badmouthing him. "
