Jungkook pov

A week later

This week has been hectic for me and the work load kept piling on my shoulders and all I needed was a peaceful weekend, again. I mean I used to be a person who hated weekends because it's the time of the week when the loneliness eats my brain and the worse thing is time goes too slow especially on Saturdays and Sundays. But now, all I yearn for is a nice good weekend with her and trust me, I only remember Friday evening because within a blink of an eye, it's Monday morning again which I clearly developed a dislike.

Almost everyone in the company started noticing us and we have been the topic of discussion around every tables which I don't care about anyways. But seeing Nayna getting worried over nothing makes me want to kiss her right in front of all the employees and prove that yes! We are in a relationship!

This weekend, she's going to be with her parents and that's fine with me. I don't have any voice in this matter because just as how I'm important to her, so are her parents and the moment one realizes this, it makes them a true man.

Time skip

"Okay, so shall we have an icecream? "

She asked and trust me no one can really deny it at the way her eyes shined innocently. But today, it's not gonna work with her, because everyday has been a cheat meal day for me and I started having a sweet tooth syndrome only because of her.

So I replied, "I can buy you one".

" What about you? Don't you want an ice cream? " She turned her head towards me and I gulped hard because I don't know any ways to say a no.

"Well, I wonder if—"

"Okay, I don't want it. "
 

She replied instantly. I held her hands and said, " See, I'm not that broke to not buy you an ice cream".

She turned towards me and said, "well, I'm not broke to have an ice cream by my own either. "

Sometimes it's hard to handle her! And that's what she keeps saying about me.. Maybe because of this we are made for each other. !

She walked ahead andIi couldn't help but agree to her as I followed her behind and held her wrist making her turn back towards me. I pulled her closer and said, "let's have an—"

"No! I mean I'm mad that you're making me health conscious. Before I was so free and whenever I had the heart to eat an ice cream, I wouldn't think of anything, but it's really good that you're making me aware of the calorie intake. After all I don't want to have diabetes at an young age... Diabetes means no sugar intake, which in turn means I won't be able to have my favourite boba tea, chocolates, candies, icecream, desserts and what not".

I heard her blabbers patiently with a smile on my face and lastly it ended with us giggling. I feel so free with her, without any barriers. Initially I was afraid to show my raw form even after trying so hard to put my everything into our relationship, but she gave me the time, understood my emotions, stood by my side at my worst and accepted the real me. So I dont feel like I'm being pressured in this relationship which is more beautiful than ever. I held her palms tightly as I said, "but wait! I have one thing which can satisfy your sweet tooth. " She frowned at me that I found really cute.

I tucked my hands inside the pocket and got hold of the thing that i mentioned earlier and forwarded it to her as I asked, "want a protein bar? "

She softly laughed and took the protein bar from my hands as she removed the wrapper and threw it inside a nearby dustbin. She took a bite from it and gave the other half to me which I accepted gladly.
