Nayna pov

Trust me, I feel so damn awkward and suffocated right now, eating with him especially when it's so silent around me. The only sounds I can hear are the spoons and chopsticks clinging to our plates. I have never been in a situation where I am supposed to keep quiet unless it's an event where I must maintain the decency because even during eating, I like everything to be sound. Even when I'm at home, the sound of the TV is a must!

This sudden shift in environment that too a silent one seems a bit difficult for me to digest. But that's okay as I have a great ability to adapt. I shrugged away my thoughts and focused on the food that really melts into my mouth. Indeed the food is so delicious and to be honest, I never thought he could make something that can hit every receptors of taste on my tongue.
I badly wanted to say it out, but coating the appreciation with professionalism seems to be something I need to put my brain on.

I kept chewing on the food with deep contemplation on how to complement his cooking skills and seriously I am at the verge of giving up. I have done many unprofessional things already which includes me coming to his home, wearing his shirt and eating the food he made, so above all this, appreciating the food he made doesn't require to be formal. I let my intrusive thoughts win once again as I uttered, "Mr. Jeon, seriously the food tastes so good, I never thought you could cook- err- I mean... It's delicious and I... I owe you a lot for the things you did for me. It will be good if you could let me treat you something in return too. "

He simply looked into my eyes while chewing. I know my open-talks might have triggered something in him which he isn't entertaining much about. I gulped the imaginary food in my mouth as he said, "Thank you and maybe you can treat me tomorrow. "

Okay that's a relief. But wait! This means I have to spend my entire salary to buy him food from a grand restaurant, because taking him to the restaurant where I usually go with Daeun and Noah is something I am embarassed about because what if he doesn't like the environment. When we were a thing back then, he knows how I hated fancy restaurant and how he had to change himself. Being born with a golden spoon in his mouth, he used to go to the grand restaurants until he met me as I introduced him to a different yet tasteful life where the portion of the food is big, the taste, exemplary.

Well, I can assure is that he's back into restaurants he used to visit. Okay so I must borrow the money from Daeun if I don't have enough with me and can return it from my next month's salary.

From the corner of my eye, I could see Bam pacing towards us. Guess he had his dinner. He stopped next to me and laid on his fours near to my feet. I leaned down and patted his head as he kept wagging his tail.

We had our silent dinner and I helped him with the dishes after a long and cold protest in which I won because I couldn't let my boss wash my plates because that's the rudest thing an employee can do to her employer.

But the thing which really caught me off guard was his damn tattooed right arm. I mean when did he tattooed his arm such that his right arm was fully covered with ink? This is the only thing I never expected from him, not that I'm disappointed but I'm quite shocked and surprised. Seriously he looks like the mafia businessmen about whom I read in books. I couldn't help but trace my eyes along the designs which do have a hidden deep meaning in them. Well, he looks damn hot with the tattoos in his right arm. Trust me! I found the thirsty woman inside me awakening at the way his arm flexed when he did something. I mean the latent veins in those tattoos are indeed a blessing to the eye.

Wish I could hold those and admire his tattoos!

Time skip

It's been a while that we had dinner and I don't know what to do because it is too early to go to bed plus I don't have my phone with me. Atleast I could have watched something that can keep me entertained. I look towards the living room where there was a large TV that adorned the wall.
