Pasikretong ngumisi si Karla when the effects of the Tamango Cocktail are getting more apparent on Helena's mien. Helena starts to mingle with anyone she comes across on the dance floor without a care for the world, like a drunk woman. Unti-unting umatras papalayo si Karla. Patuloy namang nakapako ang mga mata niya sa dalaga. Her eyes remained on her after she went upstairs to be able to watch and glare above her with contempt.

"Anong status sa hayup na nobyo nito?" Bulong ni Karla sa tinabihan nitong lalaki upstairs. Inginunguso nito si Helena.

"Negative." Pabulong na sagot ng nasabing lalaki sa kanya. "Nagreport na ang contact natin sa loob ng hotel. Nando'n pa raw ang ibang mga gamit, but nothing of any value to us. Negative rin ang collection at mga gamit ni Elmo ro'n."

"Sigurado ba talaga ang flight attendant na 'yon na kinuha lahat ni Lax ang mga gamit ni Elmo?"

"Pinahirapan na namin at lahat, kasama na 'yung Piloto, wala kaming ibang mapigang impormasyon kundi, kinuha raw talaga ng lalaking iyon at ng NBI ang lahat ng laman ng private jet."

Sinulyapan naman muna ni Karla ang bangag na si Helena, bago nito nilisan ang crowd kasama ang lalaki.

"I think this address is a ploy." Sabi ng isa sa mga ahenteng inutusan ni Gabbie when he came back to the van parked a block away from Karla's address. "The address is a vacant lot."

"Shit!" Pabulong na reaksyin ni Gabbie. Bumaling siya sa switch board to call someone. "Montero. Negative. It's a vacant lot. Where are you?"

"In the hotel. There is a break-in in our suite. They are probably searching for all the stuff I gave you. I am checking out."

"Then what?"

"I am going to the convention."

"What for? Gus is already working on virtually unlisting Helena! He only needs a little time."

"He can work on it but can't wait for that, and I need to go and do something."

"Leave it all to Harvey Taylor."

Iginiya nito si Paolo sa isang dark leather Club Chair, "Enjoy all our other girls for now; don't worry, they are for your entertainment only while you wait for your Prize."
