"Ate, I have this classmate who's an artist." Sabi ni Fons.
"She's now my friend." Sabi n'ya.
"Tell me about her." Sabi ko.
"She's in a girl group daw under Star Magic, have you heard of BINI?" Sabi n'ya.
"I think I've heard about them somewhere." Sabi ko.
"Her name's Aiah, she's very nice and intelligent. You'd like her!" Sabi n'ya.
"Won't your girlfriend be jealous of this Aiah girl? You seem fond of her." Sabi ko.
"They met already and are friends na rin. No malisya naman between me and Aiah." Sabi n'ya.
"With all the things you're telling me about this Aiah girl, she seems fun to be with." Sabi ko.
"She is!" Sabi n'ya.
"Ria and Aiah are actually coming over tomorrow." Sabi n'ya.
"I'll see them if I'm not that busy with our research." Sabi ko.
"You're graduating in a few months!" Sabi n'ya.
"Hopefully, matapos lang talaga 'tong research." Sabi ko.
"Oh, well, good luck on your studies, Ate! I'll always be here if you need to rant about anything." Sabi n'ya.
"I know, thanks, Fons." Sabi ko.
TIME SKIP
Kumatok sa kwarto ko si Fons at sumilip.
"Ate, Ria and Aiah are here na. Wanna say hi?" Tanong ni Fons.
"Wait, I'll just finish this part." Sabi ko.
Binilisan ko na rin sa pag-type sa laptop ko.
Nag-ayos ako saglit para naman mukhang presentable ako.
Lumabas na rin ako sa kwarto.
"Hello, it's been a while, Ria." Sabi ko.
"And nice to meet you, Aiah, right?" Sabi ko.
"Y/N, Fons told me you were so busy with your research." Sabi ni Ria.
"Sobra especially because it's individual. It's definitely very stressful." Sabi ko.
"Hi po." Sabi ni Aiah.
"No need to say po kay Ate, she's the same age as you." Sabi ni Fons.
"Oh, is that so?" Sabi ni Aiah.
"Would you like anything to drink or snacks?" Tanong ko.
"We're good, Ate. Thank you." Sabi ni Fons.
"I'll just be in my room if you need anything." Sabi ko.
"Ate, Mom bought cinnabon kanina. You should eat some muna." Sabi ni Fons.
