Director of Law, Y/N Lim
"Ms. Y/N, Ms. Mikha is looking for you." Sabi ng assistant kong si Alex.
"Bakit na naman?" Tanong ko.
Hindi n'ya rin alam kung bakit.
Nagpunta ako sa office ni Mikha.
CEO, Mikha Lim
"Mikha, you were looking for me?" Sabi ko.
"Why won't you sign the papers to remove the low earning brands in the mall?" Tanong n'ya.
"I won't be able to reach the trillion status and be in the trillion club because of them." Sabi n'ya.
"I'm 200 million away from that and they're slowing it down. We'll look for much more useful brands." Sabi n'ya.
Mag-aaway na naman.
"Mikha, it's wrong. Matagal nang business partners ng kompanya yung nga gusto mong tanggalin. Besides, we are following a contract." Sabi ko.
"Then terminate it." Sabi n'ya.
"Do as I say, Y/N." Sabi n'ya.
"Mikha—" Hindi n'ya na'ko pinagsalita pa.
"I wasn't asking for your opinion. You can leave." Sabi n'ya.
"You're so selfish, Mikha." Sabi ko.

Umalis na 'ko ng office n'ya.
"Where are the papers?" Tanong ko kay Alex.
Inabot n'ya sa'kin at pinirmahan ko.
Bumalik na 'ko sa office ni Mikha.
Sinalampak ko sa table n'ya yung mga papel.
"Signed just like you wanted." Sabi ko.
"Good" Sabi n'ya.
"This is the last time I'll let you control me." Sabi ko.
"You said that the last time." Sabi n'ya.
TIME SKIP
"Tangina, ba't ko ba pinakasalan 'yon?" Tanong ko.
"Mahal mo kamo." Sabi ng kaibigan kong si Jess.
Minahal ko naman talaga.
"We drifted apart na." Sabi ko.
"Pati pagiging conyo n'ya nagagaya mo na." Sabi n'ya.
"Bakit ba kayo nagka-gan'yan?" Tanong n'ya.
"Hindi ko rin alam but I guess it's because of the miscarriage." Sabi ko.
"Hindi kami nag-usap after what happened. We mourned separately." Sabi ko.
"Napapaisip ako na kung hindi siguro 'yon nangyari, masaya pa rin kami ngayon." Sabi ko.
"Sa tingin mo, sinisisi ni Mikha yung sarili n'ya kaya nalaglag yung baby n'yo?" Tanong n'ya.
"Yes, she's the one bearing the child, e." Sabi ko.
"I tried conforming her but every time, she pushes me away." Sabi ko.
"Hindi lang naman s'ya yung nawalan, that was our baby." Sabi ko.
