Mekaya ka ba?

"Good morning, Ms. Arceta. May new student po tayo." Sabi ng kaklase ko.
Inabot ko kay Ms. Arceta yung paper ko from the enrollment at tumingin s'ya sa'kin.
"Late enrollee?" Tanong n'ya at tumango ako.
"Yes po." Sagot ko.
Tininginan n'ya yung papel at pinirmahan.
"I'm Ms. Aiah Arceta, your adviser. You can call me Ms. Aiah or Ms. Arceta." Sabi n'ya.
Nginitian ko s'ya to let her know na I heard her.
"Message me na lang so I can let you answer the activities and quizzes you've missed since two weeks na rin since nag-start ang classes." Sabi n'ya.
"Is your school account working na ba?" Tanong n'ya.
"Not yet pa po. The admissions office told me that it'll take three days before my account can be opened. I will be able to access it tomorrow po and I'll make sure to message you as soon as I have access." Sabi ko.
"If you have any concerns, reach out to me. Okay?" Sabi n'ya at tumango ako.
Nagkaroon din naman agad ako ng kaibigan among my classmates since they're all nice and welcoming.
Late na ako nakapag-enroll for college since nagbakasyon pa kami sa ibang bansa which took longer than planned.
Naghabol ako ng modules and activities. It was hell, sobrang dami na nilang ginawa in just two weeks!
I'm very grateful na my classmates were helping me with catching up and my professors/instructors were considerate as well.
Thankfully, I only had two major subjects for this semester and both are handled by Ms. Arceta.
"Ms. Y/N, can you read and explain what's written on the powerpoint presentation?" Pagtawag ni Ms. Arceta during discussion.
Natawag pa talaga sa recitation.
Tumayo ako at nag-recite.
"Okay, five points." Sabi n'ya.
Nilagay ko na sa index card ko yung score na sinabi n'ya.
Magaling magturo si Ms. Arceta.
Alam n'ya talaga yung tinuturo n'ya and she is able to explain everything well.
Sinasabi n'ya rin yung experiences n'ya to relate it with the discussion.
She also shares personal stories which are much more interesting than the discussion itself.
Hindi raw s'ya nagkaroon ng jowa not until she started working na.
Naikwento n'yang engaged na s'ya sa first jowa n'ya at ikakasal na sila this year.
Balak n'ya nga raw mag madre before kaso nagmakaawa raw yung mother n'ya na mag-asawa s'ya so ayun!
Yung fiancée n'ya raw is matagal na n'yang kaibigan before naging sila.
Nagbibigay din s'ya ng life advices which I love hearing.
She's worked in different industries daw.
She's a BSHM graduate sa same college and now, dito na rin s'ya nagttrabaho as an instructor. She's been teaching for five years na rin daw.
