Prologue

This was it. This was the moment that would change my life forever.

"And the winner of X Factor 2011 is..." Dermot began and then paused, causing my heart to race faster, my palms to get even more sweaty. I was thankful to have Tulisa and Leigh Anne at either side of me, holding me up or else I might of collapsed right there and then. Finally Dermot put his hand up to his ear and pressed his ear piece so he could here the producers speaking over the roar of the 10,000 strong crowd of Wembley Arena.

"...LITTLE MIX!"

My knees began to give in but I managed to hold my balance. I started screaming and crying and I didn't know what to do with myself until I was pulled into a hug by one of the girls. I kept a tight grip around Leigh Anne's and Tulisa's waist before we all broke apart. I was pulled over to speak to Dermot and I just began rambling about how grateful I was. Everything else that happened on stage that night is literally a blur.

I can remember what happened after we'd got off the stage. We spoke to our families, then did Xtra Factor and then we all went out to a pub with our families and a few of the other contestants to celebrate. Most of the people were on the dance floor either grinding up against each other or just jumping up and down so I stood with Jesy at the bar and even though she isn't a big drinker, I still managed to get a few drinks down her throat.

"Jade I don't wanna drink no more, come and dance with me!" She shouted over the loud thuds of the music. It was the kind of thuds that go right through you and make your insides shake. She grabbed my arm before I could object and dragged me to the crowded dancefloor. It was really small and packed full of people so I found myself pressed right up against Jesy and all the other people around me. There was no real personal space between us at all. I looked over to Leigh, who was already quite drunk. She was standing with Perrie and both their mums. Leigh-Anne waved wildly, hitting her mum in the face by accident, which just made me laugh hard. Jesy looked over at them and smiled, an extremly cheesy smile. Perrie smiled back since Leigh-Anne was too busy apologising to her mum and cleaning up the drink she had just spilt everywhere.

"Jade! It's getting too packed! I don't like it! Can we leave?!" She shouted and i didnt need to be asked twice, I was straight out of there. We went to the toilets and I was glad to find it free of people. I went into a cubicle, did what I needed to and reappered a few minutes later, to find Jesy sitting on the counter where all the sinks were and humming along to the quiet music that was playing. She looked gorgeous. Her hair was down and curled and she had own a black and gold dress that came down to her mid thighs and had half length sleeves. She was wearing gold heels as well. I was wearing a short pink dress, which had full length sleeves and pink ballet flats, with bows on them. My hair was also down and had a purple bow hairband in. I washed my hands and went over to Jesy, who pulled me into a hug, holding me close to her.

"Hey, what's this for?" I asked hugging her back, nuzzling my face into her neck.

"It's for always being there for me, for always making me feel better. I also wanted to say thank you for being an amazing friend to me. I love you Jadey," she said, pulling back from the hug, with tears froming in her eyes. I was full of wanting to kiss the tears away.

During X Factor, I'd fallen in love with her. She was perfect and to see her breaking down over the hate she was getting? It broke my heart too. When she said she didn't want to change herself, I was glad. There was nothing she needed to change. Her curves were perfect and her eyes were gorgeous and her lips looked so kissable.

"Jade?" i heard her soft voice say.

"What?" I asked shaking my head.

"Aw was little Jadey in biscuit land with the biscuit fairies again?" She giggled, pinching my cheeks.

"Shut up Nelson," I laughed, moving her hand away. She got off the counter and wrapped her arms around my neck, still holding my gaze. She moved towards me so our lips were only centimetres apart. Her breath smelt slightly of vodka and her eyes fluttered shut. My breathing quickened and my heart was going at 100mph.

"Just let me try one thing," She whispered, so softly it was barely audiable. I nodded slightly and she smiled. She softly pressed her lips onto mine. It barely lasted a second but it was the best second of my life. She moved back slightly but she was still closer that before. My arms wrapped themselves around her waist and pulled her body closer to mine.

"That was almost perfect, but I think we should try that again," She giggled slightly. Her eyes closed again and she tiled her head to the right. I closed the gap and pulled her closer. She spun around so i was leaning against the counter. She pushed our bodies even closer together, if that was even possible. I swiped my tounge across her upper lip, begging for entrance, which she imediatly granted. Our mouths moved in sync as we explored each others mouths. Both of her arms were still wrapped around my neck, but one of her hands was playing with my hair. One of my hands traveled up to her neck, pulling her head even closer. She moaned and deepened the kiss.

Im so glad Jade kissed me back. I didnt know how she would react but i was so nervous about it. I was glad she seemed to be enjoying it as much as me. I felt her moan into my mouth and with ease, I lifted her up and sat her on the counter. Since I had my heels on, this more or less made us eye level with each other. She moved her other arm up to my neck and wrapped her legs around my waist which, once again, brought us closer. I wasn't going to conplain though. Not now, not ever. Suddenly her phone went off, which made us both jump because we were so caught up in the moment. I pulled back so she could answer it but started kissing her neck, which made her groan in pleasure.

"It's Perrie," She said softly, not wanting to break the atmosphere around us.

"Hey, Pez," She answered the phone. Her arm that wasn't holding the phone was still around my neck and her legs were still wrapped around my waist. My arms had gone down to her waist, holding her up and holding her close.

"Yeah, we're fine..........In the toilets.........Just talking.........Yes. I promise we are just talking.........What do you mean you don't believe me?........Yeah, we'll meet you at the door in 5 minutes.......Okay, see you soon Perrie."

"Just talking?" I smirked, raising my eyebrows.

"Well we were doing alot more than that," She laughed, getting off the counter and giving me a hug.

"C'mon Perrie and a very drunk Leigh-Anne are waiting for us," She said taking my hand and entwining our fingers together.

"I dont wanna leave," I moaned pulling her back.

"I dont either," She said, giving me another kiss, "But we have to be at the ITV studios to be on daybreak in a few hours and its already 1am," She literally dragged me out of the toilets, through the bar and to where Perrie and Leigh where standing.

"JADE!! JESY!!" Leigh exclaimed, stumbling over to us and pulling us into a hug.

"C'mon Lee Lee, lets get you home," I laughed. We all got into the waiting taxi. Jade had to sit on my knee because Leigh's mum was in the front. She had insisted on coming with us to make sure we all got back okay. Perrie fell asleep and Leigh was rambaling onto her mum and the driver about god knows what so I was in the middle of them two, with Jade on my knee, asleep. When we got back to the house, Leigh was asleep so the only people awake were her mum, me and the driver.

Her mum hauled her out of the car which woke her up and she threw up in the bushes. The driver helped me wake both the girls and they sloped off the house. I turned to pay the driver

"No charge for the X Factor winners. Just send us a signed copy of the winners single for my daughter," I think he was joking but I said we would, so I got his address and went inside. Leigh was in the bathroom with her mum and Perrie was in bed already. I found Jade on the sofa.

"Jesy come here," She whispered. So I kicked off my shoes, grabbed a blanket and snuggled up beside her feeling more secure than I had in ages and this had been the best night ever.
