After the wedding, things went back to normal, or as normal as they could be for the girls who were in a girlgroup. They sat in the studio, day after day, hour after hour, writing song after song, which would complete what would turn out to be amazing third, fourth and fifth albums.

But then Leigh became sick. Very Sick. Just as the fifth album dropped, "Lung cancer," she told them, "From breathing in my boyfriends smoke."

"Second hand smoke is a bitch," Jade said, breaking the stunned silence of the three other girls. It was quickly followed by sobs from Jesy which set the rest of the group off into a hysterical mess.

So they decided as a group to stop being Little Mix, not only because Leigh Anne was dying, but because they had been Little Mix for 6 years and were now at times in their lives where they wanted to settle down, have kids and spend all the money they had worked so hard for.

They spent a few weeks picking their favourite songs they had written, creating a 'Little Mix : Greatest Hits' album. Then set to work putting together a final tour, where on the last night, the lights would go up and that would be the end. No more Little Mix.

Half way through the tour, Leigh Anne became bed ridden. She told the girls to continue the tour and to go on stage that night. Perrie, Jade and Jesy were reluctant but Leigh was dying, they wanted to keep her happy so if leaving her on the bus with her mum while they performed is what she wanted them to do, they would do it.  Although little did they know, "Good Luck," would be the last thing the girl who had pulled everything together when it was falling apart would say to them.

That night, none of them slept. Jade, Jesy and Perrie sat together on Jade and Jesy's bunk, crying, mourning, not speaking, wondering if they could even bare to finish the tour.

Jade was the first one to speak, "Let's write a song. For Leigh," To which all the two other girls agreed. And that's how they spent that night. Once it was done they convinced Annehka to let them put it in the set list. And then they performed it, night after night, crying each time.

Perrie settled down with a new man, Shay, whom she met at a charity event the girls had attended. They got married on the beach in America with only their close friends and family watching.

They announced that night that Perrie was pregnant and went on to have a handsome set of twin boys, Jake and Cole who were followed by a gorgeous baby girl called Abbie.

And as for Jade and Jesy, they watched Jamie grow up to be a 5 year old who loved her dolls, hated carrots and who knew if she ever wanted something all she had to do was use her puppy dog eyes.

Then walking to school one day, Jesy decided she missed having a little baby to cuddle and look after. She loved her little family with all her heart but she knew that deep down there was even more love that she could give to another little boy or girl.

When she went home she spoke to Jade about it. Jade was reluctant but Jesy refused to give up, "Please Jadey," she begged, "Another little baby. You can pick the name?"

"Would it be an ivf baby?"

"Well yeah."

"Well.." Jade needed to think, "Only if you carry it."

So they found a donor who looked like Jade, took DNA off both the girls, mixed it in a test tube and injected it into Jesy.

Jamie was excited for a new little brother or sister and even though Jade was reluctant at first, when they stocked up on baby clothes for the little boy they were expecting, she became just as excited as Jesy was.

Thomas was the name they gave him when he was born and he was even more beautiful that either of them could of imagined.

Jade and Jesy watched their children grow up to beautiful human beings, falling more and more in love with each other each day. They had great times as a family, they holiday'd in Disney Land, took day trips around London and even when their little babies grew up, the family were still as close as ever.

And it was these times Jade thought about now, as she sat next to Jesys hospital bed, holding her hand, trying to let her know that she was there, still caring, still hoping, still in love.

Jesy was weak, also dying. It was a hereditery thing. She was only 48 but she looked and when she could feel, felt, a lot older. It had done the same thing to her grandma, put her on deaths door before she had reached 50. It was expected. But it wasn't experted to progress so quickly.

It had started when Jesy forgot relatives names. She then forgot who her siblings were. Then her children. Then Jade. This all happened in the space of two weeks.

Then she forgot how to eat properly. Then how to drink. And she became ill. This happnened in the space of a week.

Projectile vomiting, severe head aches, dizzyness, blackouts, blood thinning and weight loss, were all what put Jesy in this bed. Jade got scared when Jesy started shouting out in pain and phoned the ambulance. They rushed Jesy in and took Jade aside. And then they told her.

"Jesy is too weak. If we had her in sooner, we would of been able to operate on her. But now? No chance of it working. Jesy doesn't have long, Mrs Thirlwall. I'm sorry."

Jade blamed her self. Blamed herself for not taking her in sooner. But now all she could do is wait. Wait for Jesy's final breath to escape her lungs. And she waited. And waited. And waited for days but Jesy refused to let go.

"Don't be scared Jess," Jade would whisper, "Don't  be scared. Let go. You won't be in pain anymore, my love."

And one day Jesy did let go. But Jade wasn't there. She had gone to the cafe for a drink to take back. Thinking of another story to tell Jesy. But it was too late. When she got back, Jesy was gone. Jade cried out, became hysterical, dropped her drink and ran over. Jade took Jesys hand which was already going cold and kissed her forehead, "I'm sorry Jesy. I'm sorry I left you on your own."

A week later, the funeral took place. Perrie sat next to Jade, Jamie and Thomas, offering some support since she knew Jade would be aching inside, the kids would be too. Perrie tried to stay strong for them but half way through, when Jade started sobbing, Perrie did too. Perrie had lost a sister. Jamie and Thomas, a mother. Jade, a soul mate.

After the funeal tea, Jade left her house. She drove to a place her and Jesy would come on a night off. Beside the lake, where they could through down a picnic blanket and think of nothing else but eachother. Jade sat down under Jesy's favourite tree.

"Jesy, my love, I'm sorry I wasn't there to help you through your final moments. I'm sorry I wasn't there to hold your hand. I'm sorry I wasn't there to see you off. But in way i'm thankful. I was told that maybe you left when I wasn't there to save me the pain of watching the gorgeous woman I am in love with, slip off the Earth. And I say 'am' instead of 'was' because I will always be in love with you Jesy Thirlwall. Always. It doesn't matter if one day I find someone else. But I want to thank you Jesy, for making these past 20 or so years, the best of my life. I never felt scared or lost with you. Everything was okay when you held me in your arms. Everyone loves you Jesy. Everyone. So thank you, baby. Thank you for everything. I love you."
