I knew Jade was there but to be honest thats all I was aware of. I could feel my body beginning to wake up.

My eyes slowly opened and my vision was blurry but my eyes soon adjusted to the darkeness.

I saw Jades small silloete lying on the chair. Her small hand was in mine and i tightened my grip around it. In the darkness i saw her eyes shoot open.

"Jesy! youre awake!" she whispered excitedly and got off the chair bed thing. She walked over beside me and pressed her lips onto mine. "Do you need a doctor?"

"no, im fine" i smiled the best I could.

"I will get one just in case hold on" she ran her hand through my hair. I noded the best I could and she ran to find the doctor. She came back a couple of minutes later with a man who looked very professional.

"Nice to have you back with us Miss Nelson" he smiled at me.

"You can call me Jesy" I tried to smile back. He checked the monitor beside my bed and took my temperature.

"Everything seems to be fine but I will go and get my supervisor for a second opinion." he left the room. He came back with an older man who looked at the monitor and noted stuff down. He took my temperature and some other things.

"Youre blood pressure is a bit high but a few tablets should sort that out. You are in a much better state than you were which is excellent. I can see youre still tired so I will give you some tablets then we can sort everything else out in the morning" he smiled. He went into the cuboard and got me tablets and I took them. He gave us both a nod and both men left.

"Jade, when did you find me?" i asked her and tears filled up in her eyes. "Jade, dont cry, please"

"I found you at home and you were lying on the floor and there was blood all over you and i could feel a pulse and i thought-" she stopped to cry. I attemped to sit up to comfort her but I couldnt so I pulled her on to the bed beside me and lay her head on my chest. I wrapped my arm around her shoulder and stroked her cheek with the other. "-i thought you had gone Jesy." she started crying again and i pulled her head up kissed her. She moved slightly and I winced with pain and she pulled back quickly.

"Im sorry Jesy!" she mumbled quickly and put her head back on my chest. "Can you remember what happened?" she asked me softly. It was my turn to cry. She quickly climbed off the bed and stood beside me. She lent over me and placed a kiss on my forehead.

"He came when you were out...he-he-he raped me and then he beat me up, he told my it was to pay for stealing you!" i managed to get out and cried harder. She stroked my hair and placed kisses on my cheek.

"Jesy, its okay, youre safe now" she whispered into my ear and I managed to slow down my breathing and stop crying.

"Take the chair closer" i whispered to her and went to the other side of it and pushed it so it was right against the hospital bed. She climbed onto it and covered herself in blankets again. I reached for her hand again and soon we were both asleep.

When I woke up again Jesy eyes were open and she was looking at me.

"Morning baba" she smiled at me.

"Jesy why didnt you wake me up?"

"You looked so peaceful. Youre cute as a button when you are asleep." "Are you feeling okay?"

"My tummy is really painful actually and so is my head"

"I will get a nurse, wait here" She jumped up and got a nurse.
