We Can Still Be Friends Right?

I put Jordan's cup of tea down on the table and sat at the other side of the couch from him. He gave me a look that involved furrowed eyebrows and picked up his cup.

"You not coming down here to cuddle?" He asked me. I shook my head as words seemed to be failing me. He frowned and lent back, "Jesy, what's wrong, princess?"

"I-I..I don't know how to tell you," I mumbled and he gave me a sympathetic smile. He put his cup back down and shuffled up the sofa. He put his hand on my knee.

"Take your time," He said soothingly.

"Jordan, you're gonna hate me forever but I'm not completely in love with you anymore," I said quickly and I watched his face. You could see the sadness and disappointment in his eyes as well as on his face.

"Why not?" He asked me, his voice braking as he spoke. My heart broke and I felt so guilty. I decided just to explain it all to him.

"Well you see the thing is Jordan, me and jade, well we kissed the night of the X Factor Final, when we were at the bar afterwards and I thought she was too drunk to remember but turns out she wasn't. I never really stopped loving her and then yesterday, outside your dressing room, she kissed me. I realised she still had feelings as well and then back here we kissed twice and she kissed me first in all of them, I swear. Then when the yous two left we had a girls night and then I told her all my feelings and she said she felt the same way and she kissed me. Without going into details, we did a lot more than kiss," I had tears in my eyes but I felt myself smiling when I said that. I hadn't made eye contact with Jordan because I didn't want to see what he was feeling but i could feel his eyes burning into me, "I love Jade and we want to be together so I'm so sorry Jordan but I can't stay with you and I'm leaving tonight," I finished and looked at him sheepishly. He looked completely broken. He had tears streaming down his face but he still smiled at me. It didn't reach his eyes though.

"Jesy, I could never EVER hate you and I will respect every decision you make and thank you for being honest and telling me and not just leaving me, without giving me a reason as to why."

"We can still be friends, right?"

"Of course Jesminda," He smiled at me and I realised his tears had stopped. He sighed, "When are you leaving?"

"Jade is picking me up from the shop down the road and I'm going to her house. She told me to text her."

"Are you packed? Do you need me to walk you?"

"I have some stuff in a bag there," I pointed at the leopard print bag, "But I will be picking up my stuff tomorrow I suppose and I don't need you to walk me because its only quarter to seven," I smiled at him as his eyes filled with more tears and sadness, "Jordan please-please don't cry," I begged him but he didn't stop. I felt even more guilty and I wanted to shoot myself. I moved closer to him and gave him a hug.

"I'm so sorry Jord."

"It's fine. I think you should text Jade now and get her to pick you up because this is hard for us both," He gave me one last squeeze before we both got up and he disappeared into the bedroom. I lent against the wall and started crying. This was worse than i thought it would be. I slid down the wall and sat on the floor crying into my hands. I needed Jade to hug me and tell me it would be okay. I took out my phone and texted her;

'hey Jade. I told Jordan and hes a wreck now and so am I (but he understands) i need a hug though!xxx'

I got a quick reply;

'i am on my way. Sam didn't take it so well:( i will be at the corner in 15!xxx'

It took 5 minutes to get to the corner and I wanted some flowers for Jade so I was going to go now. I put on my shoes and went back through to the bedroom. Jordan was sitting with his head in his hands on the side of the bed. I fought back tears as he looked up.
