The Hospital part7

I had been awake for a week now and they were going to scan me, one more time and that would be the decider of weather or not I could get home tomorrow, or later today if i was lucky. I was managing to sit up by myself, and i could walk a few steps but my legs are still stiff so Jade promised to give me a leg massage when we get home. Since i could sit up and move about myself, I was drinking some water while speaking to Jade.

"I really cant wait until you can come home. When im in the flat by myself, it feels so empty" she sighed.

"Well hopefully i get home soon" i smiled and reached for her hand as the doctor walked in, smiling.

"You ready for your scan Jesy?" He asked brightly and i nodded, giving Jade's hand a quick squeeze before they helped me into a wheelchair.

"Jade coming to, right?" I asked hopefully, looking over at Jade.

"She can come if she wants" he replied but before he finished his sentence Jade was already standing by my side, clutching my hand. I held her hand tight, scared to let go incase they decided she couldn't come.

They wheeled me down the corridors that i had come to know all too well. We slipped into the lift, quickly before the doors closed. There was a little girl, she must've been about 8 or 9. She happened to have a 'i <3 little mix' t-shirt on and seemed to recognise us right away. She stared at us intently with her green eyes before finally opening her mouth to speak.

"Jesy, are you okay?" She asked sheepishly and i nodded.

"I'm fine, lovely" i looked her up and down, noticing her teddy bear she was clutching in her right hand. She nodded in response and looked up at her mum, who pulled a pen and note pad out her bag.

"Could i please have your autograph, Jesy and Jade?" She smiled shyly and Jade knelt beside her, quickly writing her name on the piece of paper before she handed it up to me. I carefully did my autograph, which felt weird as i hadn't done it in a long time. I handed it back and looked at her. She was beaming. All i could think of was, me and jade having a daughter.

The lift suddenly came to a stop and the doors slid open. We quickly said goodbye to the little girl as i was wheeled down the pristine white corridor, cover in health posters.

It was the same routine as last time; the nurses helped me onto the metal bed, wired me up and it moved backwards into the scanner. I managed to catch a last glimpse of jade through the glass that separated the two rooms. She was smiling but i guess that was only for my sake, even from here i could see the fear in her eyes. I closed my eyes, attempting to keep the image of her smile in my head.

I watched the monitors closely, trying to stay strong. I knew that if something went wrong, we would be in here longer and that defiantly wasn't what i needed. Jesy seemed calm as i knew that deep inside, she was terrified of exactly the same thing; something would be wrong and we would be stuck here.

The doctor took notes from the monitor, pointing things out to the nurse. The monitor didn't look as bad as it did last time. There wasn't so many different colours, that i could read on a chart at the side, meant different things and not all of them good.

Luckily i couldn't see any of the colours for internal bleeding, bruising etc. but there was plenty of other colours.

After a while the doctor hit a button and the metal bed slid out from the scanner, bringing Jesy with it. Her eyes shot open and stared at the ceiling. I did what i had done last time, run out to her before any of the nurses could. I helped her sit up hugged her tightly.

"From what i could tell on the scanner, you're so much better, baby" i muttered in her ear and when i pulled back, she was grinning like a Cheshire Cat.

"So i can go home today?" She asked excitedly.

I laughed and shrugged "I'm not sure, love. You would have to ask the doctor" Right then the doctor walked out and asked me to take Jesy back to her room while he and the nurses took a look at the notes and the monitor. I nodded and carefully helped Jesy into the wheel chair before wheeling it down the corridors and back to her room.

"I'm sick of the sight of this place" i sighed once i had got Jesy back into her bed and she nodded.

"I'm so sorry for putting you through all this baby" she looked at me, her hazel eyes full of sorrow. I shook my head and stood up, placing a soft kiss to her lips.

I wrapped my arms around her neck and she pulled me onto the bed beside her. I snuggled into her, with her arms securely around my waist. I tried to imagine us, back home in our own bed.

"Jade?" I heard her whisper softly.

"Hmm?"

"Could we maybe buy a new flat or something?" She asked sheepishly and i looked at her. I knew exactly where she was coming from. Why would she want to stay in the place where she was raped and almost killed? I should have bought a new flat for the both of us, so she would have something nice to look forward to.

"Anything you want baby. Did you not say something about wanting a penthouse?" I grinned and she nodded "well then a penthouse, you will get"

Her grin reached from ear-to-ear and she kissed me softly. "Really?! Thank you so much" she kissed me again and i laughed softly.

-JesysP.O.V

The doctor walked in, smiling brightly.

"Well Jesy, looks like you can go home today"

I smile grew even wider. "Thank you so much"

"I will need you to sign some forms and then you can be on your way" he smiled and i looked at Jade. Her smile was almost as big. She thanked the doctor and he went to get the forms.

Jade jumped up and started to put everything back in the bags while the doctor came in and i signed the forms and then he just left us to it, saying just to leave when we were ready.

Once the bags were packed, Jade helped me stand up and she quickly changed my clothes. I took a few shaky steps as my legs were quite stiff but i managed to make it out the hospital.

"Finally some fresh air!" I smiled brightly. Jade giggled and pecked my lips.

"You wait here and i'll bring the car round" she smiled and sat me on a bench. I waited for her to get the car, just glad to be out the hospital and breath fresh air again. It took about 5 minutes for her to get round with the car and she helped me in. We got home quite quickly since there was hardly any traffic.

I walked to the bottom of the stairs. I tried to lift my leg up to get to the first one but the were too stiff. Jade saw me struggling and gave me a worried look.

"I'll carry you baby" she smiled and picked me up, bridal style, despite my protests of being to heavy. She carried me up and put me back on the floor. I stood outside the door while she got the bags and then pushed the door open for me.

I smiled brightly and sat down on the sofa, glad to be back. I sighed happily and leant against jade. She put her arm around my shoulder and stroked my hair.

"I'm so glad you're home" she whispered in my ear.

"I'm so glad to be home" i whispered back, relaxing more into my girlfriend.


A.N - yeah sorry this took so long but i was on holiday :) i really don't know where this story will end anymore but lets just go with it x
