Second Smooch

**a year and a bit later**

"Jessyyyyyyyy!" I screeeched through to her. I was in her flat that she shared with her boyfriend Jordan Banjo. They had been going out for around 9-10 months now and Jesy had also introduced me to my boyfriend Sam who I was really happy with, or at least that's what I told myself. He was everything I could ask for and more. Jesy seemed really happy with Jordan but sometimes, just sometimes, she would hold my gaze for a little bit longer and stare deep into my eyes, like she was searching for something she couldn't find. Sometimes our hugs would last longer than necisary. It was these time that I felt safer than ever. Safer than I ever did with Sam. Safer than when i was in my own home. It is also these moments when I remember the feeling that I had, and still have, for her. I remember the kiss and how it felt so right. I remember how she is so much more protective over me than she is Perrie or Leigh-Anne. I want to tell her my feelings but i'm worried it could ruin things with her and Jordan, never mind what it could do to Sam. I loved him, I really did, and my heart belonged to him, but some of it belonged to Jesy. I thought about this a lot and it always led me back to the same questions - What is love? How do you know when you're in love? Why is it so hard?

"What is it Jade? I'm getting ready!" She shouted back through at me. We were going to watch Diversity perform at the arts centre. It was part of a small tour they had been doing around the south of England and to be honest, I couldn't be bothered going. It was the same show I had seen a million times before. The only thing that was making me go was the fact I was going to get to spend time with Jesy.

"Are you nearly done?" I asked, walking through to her bedroom. I smell the scent of Jordans aftershave and saw a teddy sitting on the bed that he had given her. It made me feel so jealous. I wanted to be the one to buy her cute, little gifts like that.

'Oh my god, she looks gorgeous,' I thought to myself as she turned to face me.

"Yeah just about Poopey," she smiled at me making me blush bright red.

"Well hurry up, we have to go!"

She turned to face the mirror, applied at last coat of lip gloss and smiled softly at herself

"Look I'm done," She turned to face me again and giggled. She grabbed her bag and her leather jacket then she linked arms with me and pulled me out of her flat, into the lift and down to the car park.

We climbed into the car Sam had sent for us and started talking about the second album we were currently in the process of writing. We arrived at the venue and found the boys waiting for us. Jordan pulled Jesy into a tight hug and kissed her and my stomach turned as she pulled him closer by his jacket. I couldn't help feeling jealous but I couldn't stay like that for long because Sam hugged and kissed me aswell. They both pulled back at the same time.

"Well, ladies, we better get going. Come find us after and we will all go get something to eat yeah?" Jordan asked and we both nodded, "Do you know where your seats are?"

"No," Jesy quickly replied and Jordan gave her a loving smile. The jealousy returned. He called over an usher to show us to our seats in the front row slap bang in the centre.

Me and Jade sat down, got comfy and started talking again, managing to pick up where we left off. She looked absolutly stunning. Her hair was straightened and her make up was smokey eye with lots of mascara and some dark lipstick. My hair was in a messy bun and I had neutral coloured make up on with dark eye liner and mascara. I must've looked a complete mess compared to the beauty that was sitting next to me.

I still had those feelings for her. I was more protective over her than Perrie or Lee Lee. I made our hugs last longer and held her gaze for a little longer as well. Everytime our hands brushed, it sent shivers down my spine. I would give anything to kiss her again but I dont know how she would react because we were both quite drunk the first time so she might not even remember it. The thought of her not remembering made my heart break. She said something else which I didnt quite catch so I just smiled at her. The lights went down and the curtains went up, revealing Diversity.
