"Good morning, babe," I said carrying a cup of tea and some buttered pancakes through to Jade who was still in bed but watching the TV.

"Morning, gorgeous," She grinned at me and gave a me a kiss. I climbed back into bed and sat beside her while watching 'Jeremy Kyle'. I started feeding her the pancakes again. In the same was as I had yesterday morning.

"Leigh and Pez are coming over at 12:30 today. I said you'd cook them lunch," She said to me.

"Aw Jade! You know I don't cook," I laughed, "So when you say cook, you mean run round the corner, get a pizza and shove it in the oven, I hope?"

"Yeah, sure, it doesn't have to be a pizza but make sure you get my Bourbon Biscuist-actually!...Can you get me a couple just now, please?" She batted her eyelids at me. I sighed and took the plate from her and went back into the kitchen. I got the biscuits out the cupboard and started loading them onto a plate, absentmindedly staring out the window.

Something caught my attention. A silver car. Don't ask me what type as I have no clue when it comes to cars but I recongised it to be the same model of car I'd seen somewhere, recently. I thought about it for a moment before it clicked. I saw a silohette in the window and squinted my eyes to try and make the figure out more.

I soon made it out enough to know it was Sam sitting in that car on his phone. I began to panic and rushed back through to Jade, forgetting all about the plateful of biscuits.

"And where's my biscuits?" She pouted when she saw me, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Jade! Forget about the biscuits, it's Sam! He's here!" I said, waving my arms about.

She jumped out of bed and threw on joggers and a top since we had both slept in slept in underwear but I had made the smart choice of getting dressed into comfy clothes when I got up. She put her hair in a top knot without brushing it and raced over to the window in the living room. Tears filled her eyes and she started getting hysterical again. She was screaming sentences that made no sense and I started to get scared. I had never seen her this way before. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her head to my shoulder. I stroked her hair while she cried into my top, the wet fabric sticking to my skin.

"He better not call my beautiful Jesy fat again or I will punch him," She mumbled to herself but it was loud enough that I could hear. I knew she was going to try and put up a strong front but I could tell she was also petrified. The buzzer went off and she tensed in my arms.

"Jade, it's okay," I soothed her and sat her on the sofa. She seemed to just nod and stare at the ground. I kissed the top of her head and went over to the door and opened it. I stood there and heard Sam coming up the stairs.

"What do you want?" I spat as he appeared infront of me.

"Get out of my way," He spat back, pushing me back into the flat and into the wall.

"W-w-what do you want? Get out my fl-flat," I heard Jade stutter as I shut the door and walked into the living room. She was standing in the middle of the room now. Her eyes followed his every movement around the room.

"I want my stuff back," He spat at her and pushed her onto the sofa, "Now sit there like the good, little, submissive girl you are while I take what I want," He began to walk to walk towards the bedroom. I could tell Sam had pushed her hard because of the way she had winced and was now rubbing the top of her chest where he had pushed her. He stopped as he walked past me.

"You better go see if your little girlfriend is alright," He whispered, mockingly.

I crossed the living room and sat on the sofa beside her. She had tears flowing out of her eyes. I pulled her onto my knee and hushed her.
